I chose this neighborhood because Hoboken truly offers the best of both worlds, all the excitement of New York City just minutes away, yet with the warmth, safety, and charm of a small, walkable community. As a woman and frequent traveler, I value feeling secure wherever I stay, and Hoboken is known as one of the safest and cleanest cities in the United States.
The area has a rich, authentic history, it’s the birthplace of Frank Sinatra and baseball, home to family-owned restaurants that have served locals for generations, and, of course, the world-famous Carlo’s Bakery. Every corner feels vibrant yet familiar, filled with smiling faces, cozy cafés, and the smell of fresh coffee and pastries in the morning.
Just steps from the property, you’ll find the Hoboken Waterfront, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the New York City skyline, peaceful jogging trails, outdoor gyms, picnic benches, and dog parks. Columbus Park, a beautiful green space only two minutes away, is perfect for morning walks, reading under a tree, or simply relaxing.
For commuters and explorers, transportation couldn’t be easier, buses, trains, and ferries run around the clock, and you can reach Manhattan in as little as 10 minutes off-peak or about 20 minutes during rush hour.
What I love most about Hoboken is its sense of community and balance, it’s lively yet laid-back, sophisticated yet welcoming. It’s the kind of neighborhood where you instantly feel at home, and that’s exactly what I want my guests to experience during their stay.
