About this property
Friday Songs' spacious 3 room apartment, by Charles bridge and Prague Castle.
You'll find the apartment comfortable and cozy and the service second to none. It's not just handing over the keys but I'll be there to check you in, give you a map and go over some of my best tips to get the most out of this beautiful city. I'm always on-call to help.
Our 3 Room apartment we named 'Neruda'. After the 19th Century Czech journalist, writer and poet Jan Neruda. He is very influential here in Czech Republic. He use to live on the very street the apartments are located. Now, the street 'Nerudova' is named after him. As is the well known Chilean poet Pablo Neruda. We have used Jan's legacy to inspire the design of our apartments. One room is dedicated to books and vintage furniture. It is actually a loft apartment and quite historical. Another is more romantic and the other (largest) has a clean bright design for style and comfort. All room windows open up onto Nerudova street and allow plenty of natural light. But don't worry, even though you will see many people (usually walking up to the Castle) on the street during the day, it is relatively quiet at night. There is a large common/ living space, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath/ shower and a separate toilet. The apartment is recently renovated and very spacious. Allowing you to feel at home, yet away from home.
Plus the apartment is located in historical Mala Strana, close to Charles bridge and Prague Castle.
Build up from the 13th Century, Mala Strana is a beautifully historical part of Prague. Although it can be fairly busy during the day (due to it being one of the roads leading up to the Castle) it is much quieter in the evening. It's full of amazing cobble stoned streets, making it the perfect place to get lost in in order to truly explore it.
You will find it a very unique stay :)

About the host
Your host

I am an Australian living in Prague. I met my now wife in London some time ago. We moved to Prague 8 years ago and absolutely love it. It's a beautiful city! It is forever changing. There's so much to do and see. All give you a lot of great tips depending on what you want to see or do whilst you're here.
Why they chose this property
For it's perfect location - in historical Mala Strana. Plus the space of the apartment and it's great condition considering it is a historical building dating back to the 18th century.
What makes this property unique
You can walk to all the main sites from the apartment. Charles bridge and Prague Castle are both only 5 minute walk away. And Old Town square 30 minutes.
What I really love also is that it is really well connected with transport and it is away from all the noise of Old Town in the evenings. Meaning you can get some peac e and quiet but still find bars and clubs located not too far.
There's some nice cafes nearby local bars and cafes. There's even a classic Czech Restaurant located in the building which has a really nice court yard for those warmer months.
