I had a very lovely stay and felt right at home. The rooms are spacious, well appointed with huge closets and lots of space to relax in the den, living room, or dining room; and a large kitchen for whipping up some meals with a full size modern fridge and a dishwasher for fast clean up. It’s a great shabby chic makeover of a very quaint property on a hill - lovely original hard wood floors. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless.
I usually go to a hotel but this time I needed a kitchen. I came to visit my family members that are students and to be able to make some home cooked food for them mid semester and give them a holiday feel while they are far away from home.
I will do it again - 3 more years to go after this one.
The house was near a great Friday & Saturday hand car wash to get the students’ pollen dusted car looking new. Very close to campus, my favorite coffee house and great thrifting stores to grab items I forgot to pack.
Highly recommend for those who are not posh and are looking for a laid-back fun stay where the price is right and the bed is comfy. WiFi was included too and very helpful since work never quits.
