About the host
Hosted by Ki Bowman
My extended family would meet up in Santa Cruz every summer of my childhood in a house very reminiscent of the Tower House. I’ve lived here permanently since graduating from UCSC in 1977. I’m a graphic artist, runner, gardener and fiddle player who feels very lucky to have landed in this idyllic spot.
Why they chose this property
This is an original farmhouse from the early 1900’s. It’s on a quiet street surrounded by a park, a school and an organic farm. You can hear children playing during the day and the hoots of a barn owl at night. When the wind is blowing favorably, you can hear the waves breaking at the beach.
What makes this property unique
This is a very unique property that has been lovingly restored over the years. Most rooms are not exactly plumb, as with most old structures, but its lovely character shines through.
