A Suite in Montford! Kid friendly and close to downtown!
Private, bright, and open suite in Montford, just a 15-minute walk to downtown Asheville. A 750sqft open floor plan with a private entrance that opens up to a covered porch and fenced yard. Includes a kitchenette (mini fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker, dishes/utensils/glasses), large living room, two TVs plus a home theater (projector). Perfect for families, couples, or anyone wanting a spacious, private, and comfortable space.
Beds include: one queen bed, one queen pull-out couch, and pack n' play.
This guest suite is the entire lower level of our craftsman home built in 2010. High ceilings and large windows - the space is bright, airy, and open.
Note, the private entrance to the suite is at the back of the house and down a set of exterior stairs.
This suite has an approved City of Asheville Homestay Permit.
Guest access: In addition to the 750 sqft private suite, guests are welcome to use the backyard and play structure (which are shared with our family). The play structure (built in 2017) requires adult supervision and is at-your-own-risk.
Interaction with guests: We respect our guests' privacy but are available for guidance, if requested. We love Asheville and want your stay to be easy and enjoyable. We are happy to help you make the most of your visit.

Free Wifi.
Guests may login to their personal streaming accounts through the suite’s Roku. There are two TVs and one projector home theater system!!

-Level 2 EV charger on-site (J1772 plug; Tesla adapter available)
-portable crib (pack n’ play)
-clip-on booster seat
-age-appropriate toys for kids under the age of 10.
-inflatable mattress
-iron and ironing board
Maximum occupancy is four (4) adults, however we are flexible with children. Please send us a message if the number of children exceeds the occupancy and we are happy to discuss.
The suite is in the lower level of our home. We have three children and a friendly dog. Although we do our best to keep quiet, you may hear our footsteps. We cannot hear the lower level however, so enjoy a loud movie on the home theater system.

We. Love. Asheville. We have lived in Asheville for over 15 years - we have experienced it as single professionals, as a dating couple, and now raising our kids here. Before having kids we traveled near and far...Japan, Australia, Europe, Hawaii, all over the now we are settled in Asheville. We are thrilled to be hosting other travelers coming to our city. As hosts we are happy to be available to provide tips or travel guidance on the area. We also respect your privacy and hope you will make yourself comfortable in your private Montford suite.
Why they chose this property
Location Location Location! We are located in the Montford neighborhood a short walk to downtown Asheville. The neighborhood represents homes of many architectural styles, many of which were constructed in the late 1800s and early 1900s. A portion of Montford is a Nationally Registered Historic District.
There are three neighborhood eateries, which include Nine Mile (Caribbean cuisine), Tall Johns (Euro-American), and All Day Darling (casual breakfast/lunch/dinner).
The Asheville Visitor's Center is in Montford and only an 8-minute walk from our house.
New Belgium Brewery and River Arts District (RAD) are less than 2 miles away, West Asheville is 3 miles, and Biltmore Estate is about 5 miles down the road.
Many visitors walk, drive, bike, or Uber around town. You can walk, drive, or bike to downtown. You can also bike to West Asheville, the River Arts District, UNCA's campus, and New Belgium Brewing. Various tour companies offer bus, walking, segway, and even pubcycle tours! Some biking tours take their tourists on our road and pass our house!
The Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) is 15-minute drive to our house.

We have a playset for the kids, a home theater system for the adult kids (haha!), an open spacious floorplan, and a peaceful view off the back porch.
