Great place to stay. I stayed in the Guest House and it has a very romantic feel. It includes some great features such as a dishwasher, washing machine, heated towel rack and an oven/microwave! It has everything you need. The property was beautiful even in the off season. Tons of parking. Well maintained and a great history to the property.
Quiet, cozy and clean little nook. Just perfect for a mini getaway. Couldn’t ask for more! The bed was so comfortable, the set up of the whole place was perfect. There is a door that connected to the other house(locked of course), but honestly, there was the outmost privacy and the hosts were pretty awesome. Will definitely be coming back!!
I visited Thom's Country Suite with my girlfriend for a small getaway. We had a great time. Super comfy bed, with all the things we'd need such as a fully equipped kitchen, a nice tv, and some nice morning views.
Thom was also very responsive if there were needs. He made us feel welcome.

Overall experience tainted by some issues
The property was quite nice but we had a couple issues arise during our one night stay at this rental. The owner had let us know that they were leaving that day to go to an event before the previous guest checked out so they would return at 4pm (our listed check-in time) to clean the place for us. We arrived just before 4pm and had planned to drop our stuff in the room and go for a hike in order to give them time to clean, but the door ended up being locked even though it was indicated to us that it would be open. We called the owner, and luckily they were able to get someone from the adjoining house to come open the door. We then got a message saying that they would likely be back between 4pm-5pm instead of right at 4pm. We tried to go for a long hike despite the cold rainy weather in order to give the owner owner more time to get back and clean but also because we didn't want to sit around in an unclean room. We returned at around 5pm and the room was only then in the process of being cleaned. Not wanting to be outside anymore, we went in and sat in the room while they finished cleaning. The owner did offer us $20 as compensation for the inconvenience but the whole experience was slightly strange and a little unprofessional.
We had a lovely 2-night country getaway at this beautiful farm. The country suite is exactly as shown in the listing, with a very comfortable bed and fully-stocked kitchen and bathroom. The suite is very cosy with a nice TV to watch. We also really enjoyed using the fire pits on the property to make wood burning fires. The suite itself has large windows which allow you to look out to the beautiful countryside. There are two small points to mention. The large windows do mean that some privacy may be compromised… There were a few occasions where we saw other guests or staff walking by (Note that the windows do have opaque blinds that you can lower). It's not that there were tons of people walking by, but it happened a couple times. Also, as mentioned in the listing, the suite is connected to the main house. There is a locked door that separates the suite from the main house. On a few occasions we could hear television and voices penetrating the suite from the main house. We assume if we could hear them, they could hear us… It's not that this was a huge issue, but do be aware that you may hear sound from the main house. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing stay in a country setting near the city. The property owners were very responsive to the few questions we had.
My husband and I stayed in the Country Suite because we were attending a wedding on site. The Suite was perfect - modern, had everything we needed and more, we loved the back set-up with the gas fireplace and patio furniture. The only thing is, had we not been there for the wedding and were expecting a quite time to ourselves, we would not have known there was an event happening just outside of our room. But for us, it worked out perfectly.
This is my first time using VRBO and it was an amazing experience. I was visiting the area with my dog and wanted a place that was dog friendly. The property is beautiful and the studio was lovely as well. We were able to explore the property, play ball and I felt comfortable leaving her there while I visited friends. I would recommend this property 100% and will definitely be returning for another visit.
Great place but beware, alot of insects crawling inside. We encountered Earwigs crawling on us at night, spiders and spider webs and small tiny bugs crawling all over the walls. Otherwise the place is beautiful, the greenery was the highlight of the stay.

Dima, we appreciate your review. July is earwig season and we do our very best to keep them out including cleaning between each stay and laying traps. I don't believe we heard from you during you stay to give an opportunity to address your concerns which we certainly would have done.
Me and my friend had an amazing stay! Thom was quick to reply when we needed something, property is just gorgeous like Winter wonderland, check in and check out was smooth, super clean and super cozy apartment. 10 out of 10 experience.
We loved our stay at Fermanagh farm, the peace & serenity of the beautiful countryside was exactly what we were looking for. The suite is nice, clean, & modern, and there are trails in the back of the property that we were able to explore with our dog in the fall season. It was just so beautiful! 💖
Thom the property owner lives on the farm is very friendly, accommodating, & so admirable & hardworking in keeping the family farm. We will definitely come back for another stay next year.

This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.
