Creekside Cottage is a quiet, private gem nestled in the Appalachian foothills, surrounded by woods and nature yet just a 5-minute drive from Ohio University.

Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, spacious deck with porch swing and outdoor seating, fire pit, and hot tub. The three bedrooms offer quality mattresses and classic bedding, with one full bed and three twin beds. All linens are provided.

The cottage is tastefully decorated and features an extensive library of classic novels, historical biographies, and photography books. With AC and heat, you’ll stay comfortable in every season. Relax in the hot tub under the stars or enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the sounds of nature.

A lovely, rustic, peaceful little cottage. Great location, super close to town. Was a perfect landing pad for a visit to the university. Good for a small family or group of friends. Would visit again.

We enjoyed our stay. The property is rustic and a little bit like visiting your Grandma’s house and smells a bit musty. It is tucked into deep woods and is very dark at night, so try to get to the property before sundown or have a flashlight. The cottage is very conveniently located to the Ohio University campus, which was a major plus.

Quiet place with all you need for the stay. Only thought would be to let guest know to turn on hot tub heater. It was cold when we were going to use it and took to long to heat up. Great stay and perfect for us. Thank you

I booked this for two moms and our daughters visiting Ohio University. I was unable to attend unfortunately, but the other three guests said the home is older but clean and they really enjoyed the hot tub. The host communicated well. The home is in great location when visiting OU.

This is a terrific place with a few things that keep it from being perfect. The most blaring issue is the kitchen. Like most places the amount of equipment is a little uneven, but everything was clean and in good repair, but there wasn't a good flipper for eggs for example. The kitchen table is also not the greatest. Again, it's clean but it's a little rickety. I did mention this to the host directly via email so it may be something that has been addressed.The location is great! The place has attitude and charm for days! The host was very available and communicative if needed.Overall we had a great experience!

The cottage is very cute, sitting in the hot tub watching the stars and listening to the creek was a trip highlight. There was no Verizon signal at all so make sure to have details for check in saved. Our only suggestion is to have extra blankets available for the back room as it was quite chilly in the night and I wasn’t comfortable trying to figure out the space heater.
