Beautiful home and views with three floors so plenty of room for 8 adults. 10 minute walk to downtown Bolton. Host and property manager very responsive. We had an amazing week!
Great option for a relaxing week with family. Lovely view of the lake. Big kitchen and dining area was perfect for meals, games and puzzles. Bolton landing has cute shops and nice restaurants. 20 minutes from Lake George village with more touristy entertainment options.
Incredibly relaxing and beautiful location. Amazing log cabin home. Our host, Fred was always very responsive. We would highly recommend everything about the home, the location and the beautiful area of Bolton Landing.
We just enjoyed a wonderful family vacation with this spacious property as our home base. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The deck was our favorite place to spend time together. The check in and check out process were so easy. And the location was ideal for proximity to the quaint town of Bolton Landing and a short ride to the more touristy area of Lake George Village. We highly recommend this home for a family vacation!
The house is wonderful... room for all
Family members to relax and enjoy! The deck is spectacular and watching the shooting stars from the hot tub is amazing! A fantastic vacation!
This was my family’s 3rd time staying in this house and we had another great experience! We always love the view and the proximity to town.. the path is the best. Will definitely be staying again!
Fred's spacious log home, with it's rustic elegance, wonderful amenities and spectacular views, is amazing. We most definitely plan to return in the coming years.
The house was exactly as described. The cleanliness exceeded our expectations and the pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful the wrap around deck and view are. The hot tub and fire pit are great additions to the deck.
Overall it was a good place to stay. Hot tub could’ve been cleaner and a lot of carpenter bees on and around the house.

So sorry to hear about the hot tub. It is normally emptied, cleaned and refilled between each guest so we will look into what happened. And thank you for letting us know about the bees. We will take care of this as well.
This home and location and, therefore the views, were absolutely incredible. Absolutely one of our favorite stays. Highlights include the views from hot tub, the well-stocked kitchen for cooking and dining, the spacious interior and exceptional master suite. So nice to have two separate living room areas. Highly recommend.
This house was clean with great kitchen. I do wish there was one more tv and more seating upstairs and downstairs w a few rugs to muffle the sounds. The hot tub was immaculate and location handy to everything. Overall we enjoyed the house totally
Total privacy! Huge deck with spectacular view of Lake George. Hot tub was a highlight. One of the best stocked kitchens we’ve ever had - with 8 people we cooked a lot. Propane grill was great. Plenty of outdoor seating and nice dining area. The basement TV area was great/comfy for kids but not all of us could sit down there. Living room was beautiful but kind of wish there was also a TV on main level or master bedroom. Owners provided so many supplies to get us started. Very generous!! Bolton Landing is a great small town with everything you need!
This home was perfect for
My self, my husband, my adult children and my grandson. The house was everything we wanted.... space for all, great scenery, room to spread out..hot tub was amazing, especially looking at the stars! The view from the deck was breathtaking! The house was clean and well stocked with supplies.A great vacation get away! .
My children and small grandchildren loved our stay at the cabin. We spent most of our time outside on the deck and loved playing games at night on the large farmhouse kitchen table. It was a 5 minutes drive to town and about a 15 mins drive to Lake George. We found we liked Bolton Landing more than Lake George. Sunrise and sunsets we're beautiful. We would stay again!
The house is great. We had 8 people but never felt like we were on top of each other. Power went out one night during an enormous storm but Fred provided regular updates on the status of the power companies efforts getting it fixed. Power was out only for a little bit. the walk into town is through the woods but super convenient. We walked over to the Sagamore every day for lunch. The view is really great. There is a sewage treatment plant nearby but we only smelled it once. Total non factor.
The pictures on line do not do this property justice. The setting is beautiful if you are looking to have a more private location. It is minutes from the quaint town of Bolton Landing but up in the trees you have a beautiful view of the lake from the house and deck. We spent mornings drinking coffee on the deck with a fire and evenings in the hot tub looking at the stars. The owner was great at communicating with us. All of the included toiletries and the welcome goodies were a bonus. We cooked often and used the propane grill. We went to the local beach which was a 3 minute drive from the house. You could pay 5 to park at the beach but we often found parking right on the street. We would recommend parking in Bolton Landing and walking the grounds of the Sagamore. It is gorgeous. We enjoyed an excellent dinner there one night. Our only regret was that VRBO still says check in is 4 and it is actually 3 and we were waiting around not knowing. A minor inconvenience. Can't wait to go back.
This was a last-minute booking for us, as the place we had originally booked wound up canceling our reservation a couple of weeks before we were scheduled to travel. It turns out that the cancelation was a good thing after all, or else we never would have stayed at this property.
The home was spotless, the views were stunning, and the hot tub and outdoor fire pit were a great bonus. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the sheets and towels were much better quality than what we've had provided at previous rentals. The only issue we had was that the downstairs TV area didn't have enough seating for the five of us, but that was easily remedied by setting up some beach chairs next to the couch. Problem solved.
We have never stayed in the same place twice but we would absolutely stay at this property again.
Beautiful home with spectacular views! The house had everything we needed from kitchen supplies to fun games. Great location, close to everything we needed.
