Our family group had a great time at this house! There is plenty of room and separate areas to hang out. The hot tub and billiards added a lot of fun to the evenings. The house was very clean and ready to go upon our arrival. The host provided all of the necessary information and was very responsive and helpful. The stove/oven/fridge are big and the kitchen was perfect for making meals. Large outdoor deck area which was nice since the fall weather was great and there’s a lot of big trees around the property. Perfect location if you want to enjoy a wooded private area but still be close enough to all of the historic sites in Springfield. Would definitely stay here again!

everything about this property was top notched. There were six of use. Each couple got their own floor and bedroom and bathroom. The place was spotless and the bedrooms had fresh clean sheets and the bathrooms had fresh clean towels. On the bottom floor were extra towels for the hot tub which everyone enjoyed. We loved the privacy of the place also. Next time in Springfield we will definitely rent this wonderful house again.

This was one of the best VRBOs I've ever visited. The house is gorgeous with spacious rooms, wrap around porches, a hot tub, sauna, pool table. We loved it and hope to rent it again when in Springfield.

The septic tank needed cleaning. Awful odor. Only one towel per couple??No trash bags in containers. No flat sheet on beds.No complaints with Gary the Host. The landscaping needed a lot of attention

Hi Bill, the septic tank was serviced this spring and its on yearly schedule. Each person if you provided correct number of guests gets one shower towel one hand towel and one huge towel by sauna room. Of course there are flat sheets on beds. It almost sounds like you reviewed some other property, not ours. In any case we will have a meeting with cleaning crew to make sure extra attention given to all aspects of home preparation for the guests.

We had the best time staying the weekend at this cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The wrap around porch was our favorite part. We enjoyed sitting on the chairs and taking in the scenery. We used the hot tub and sauna without any issues. The cold plunge shower feature was really unique and fun to try. It was the perfect place for a girls weekend. We were even able to get an uber to Springfield for a night out, even though it’s in a beautiful more rural area. There was lots of comfy spots to sit and hang out. The woods and birds make for wonderful mornings on the deck with coffee. We would stay there again for sure.
