A perfect place in fishtown! Bright unit with everything you need. Clean and comfortable and in the summer, the deck would be fantastic. Will stay again.

The apartment is in a great location and convenient to get to the old city and downtown areas. Very clean and tidy and the host was very helpful during our stay. The little shop next door was very helpful too. A little noisy sometimes from the streets but nothing that bothered us.

The space itself was fine, and the overall location great, but our experience with the host was frustrating enough to warrant a warning for future guests. The listing stated that a parking permit could be provided for a fee, and at check-in, the host even sent a photo of a physical permit, reinforcing that expectation. When we followed up to arrange one, communication broke down quickly. He was evasive and never answered questions directly. When we raised the parking issue by phone, he insisted his listing had never promised parking (it had), and spent most of the call lecturing us about how city parking works rather than listening to our concern. He offered to request a permit from the city but couldn't say when (or honestly, whether) it would come through. When we asked him to recommend nearby unpermitted blocks, he admitted he didn't know but suggested we put him on speaker while we drove around so he could help in real time. That wasn't a useful solution. What stood out most was his tone: dismissive, defensive, and condescending throughout. He spoke over us and never allowed us to get a word in. We left feeling talked down to rather than supported.
