Rooms were dirty, sheets were stained, carpets were disgusting and smelly, all vents had mold, shower curtains had mold, old brown pillows. Then there was a horrible sewage smell in the whole building during the middle of our trip and the hosts refused to refund us the final 2 nights. Then they gaslit us saying that when they came out to the property "minutes" after we had to evacuate the premises that there was no smell. Gross property, terrible hosts, not worth 400 a night.

We respectfully disagree with this review. During the stay, no concerns were reported regarding cleanliness, stained linens, mold, or odors until the guest contacted Vrbo requesting a full refund near the end of the reservation. We responded promptly by visiting the property within minutes of being notified and were unable to verify the reported sewage odor. We also offered to investigate the issue immediately. After reviewing the guest's request and the available evidence, Vrbo declined the requested refund. We take cleanliness and guest satisfaction very seriously, and if these concerns had been reported earlier, we would have addressed them immediately.
