We brought our dog with us and he was calm and comfortable. The host Owen was friendly and communicative, as wss his wife who was at the property. The scenery around the house was lovely.

The house was clean. I was disappointed with the limited kitchen basics. Two coffee cups, four plastic plates, no mixing bowls. No soaps for the shower, no where to hang towels, jackets, etc. unable to watch sports programs and the seating was limited. We enjoyed sitting outdoors and easy access to many attractions.

I’m sorry to learn that some aspects of the kitchen setup and household amenities did not meet your expectations. Your comments about the kitchen basics, hanging options, and seating are very helpful, and I’ll be reviewing each of these areas to ensure improvements are made for future guests. Regarding shower soaps, we do not provide personal toiletries due to the wide range of allergies and skin sensitivities among guests. This approach helps us ensure safety and comfort for everyone. In terms of TV access, we do have two smart TVs available for guests, and they are able to log in to their preferred streaming apps for viewing. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your thoughtful feedback. It truly helps us continue to enhance the guest experience.

I appreciate the host's understanding and willingness to accommodate my request to shorten my stay and cancel one night of my two-night reservation. The location was nice, and the surrounding area was pleasant.Unfortunately, the property did not meet my expectations based on the listing photos and description. The accommodations were much smaller than anticipated, with very small rooms and standing air-conditioning units. In addition, the apartment is connected to the owners' home, which was not clearly reflected in the listing.The property also has several animals on-site, including dogs, chickens, turkeys, and goats. While many guests may enjoy this aspect of the property, I have allergies to certain animals, and the animal enclosures were located close to the apartment. Had this information been disclosed in the listing, I would have made a different booking decision.Due to these issues, we made the difficult decision to leave and find alternative accommodations at the last minute. This resulted in additional expenses, as we needed to pay for another place to stay while also paying for one night at this property.While I appreciate the host's assistance and flexibility, I believe a full refund would have been appropriate given that the listing did not accurately represent the accommodations or disclose information that was important to our stay.My hope is that the listing can be updated with more accurate photos and a clear description of the property.

Great little cozy place with a great location for visiting the Lancaster area. The two bedrooms are a great size and the bunk bed in one is a nice addition for a larger crowd. The kitchen is small but has what you need with a nice size table. It was nice and cool! Plenty of towels and pillows. The river is beautiful and there is a great restaurant just down the street.
