Acorn Lane Escape's main house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main house has an open concept that offers one level-living. An abundance of natural light is welcomed in through many water facing windows. A number of skylights improve the natural light and warmth of the space. Sweet views of Long Cove can be caught through many of the windows. A wrap around deck that has both covered and open spaces provides a number of opportunities for relaxing and taking in the sights and sounds of Long Cove.

The primary bedroom with ensuite bathroom includes charming, painted double sinks, a shower and a large walk-in closet. The master bedroom has direct access to the wrap around deck via glass sliding doors. The property also includes a studio apartment above the garage that has a half bath (with incinerating facility, no plumbing).

The studio space above the garage has two large convertible sofas, big views out the picture window and a compostable toilet. The space is perfect for a family game night or a quiet work space.

Acorn Lane Escape is the perfect place to be for your Maine getaway. Located in a desirable mid-island location, provides a short ride to both Deer Isle and Stonington Villages. Eat lobster on the deck. Kayak, swim or paddle board from the shore. Enjoy watching deer, birds and other wildlife. This property is just like Maines state motto- The way life should be.

Magnificent Maine Vacation

The house is a perfect setting for a quiet Maine vacation. It's at the end of the road and has an amazing view of a very quiet cove where you can see seals and porpoise fishing during the evenings. Bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is excellent for staying in and cooking. There is even A/C in the living room for when the afternoon sun is coming through all of the windows. Great opportunities for long walks as well. We've stayed in a lot of houses on the island and THIS one is highly recommended.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be in writing and received by Agent. Cancellations may only be made between the date that a reservation deposit is received and a date determined to be 45 days prior to the tenants scheduled arrival date. Cancelations within 45 days of arrival will not result in a refund in whole or part of rental monies received. If a cancellation is made prior to 45 days of arrival, the Agent shall, as an accommodation to the Tenant, make an effort to re-rent the property at the published rate for the rental term reserved. No refund of rents paid will be made until the canceled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the canceled period is re-rented, any rent and taxes paid will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. If the re-rental amount is less than the published rate, any difference in rental rate remains the sole obligation of the tenant. If the unit is not re-rented, all rents paid, processing fees and taxes shall be forfeited as damages. This cancellation policy is strictly followed. Tenants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for all vacations to cover many situations that may arise that might cause one to cancel vacation plans. There are many independent insurance providers available to tenants.
