Palmettos at Folly 1L

The Space:
Set in the midst of rustling palmettos and Lowcountry wetlands, this first-floor condo will place you within a mile of wonderful shopping, memorable dining, and the soft sands of Folly Beach.

Leave up to two cars in the parking area at Palmettos at Folly and get around easily by bike, with designated bike lanes running along Folly Road both to and from the beach. After a day spent beachcombing or surfing, you'll be greeted back at home by 768 square feet of centrally air-conditioned living space.

The condo's main living area brings together a well-appointed kitchen with a two-person breakfast bar, a living room with a sofa and a flatscreen cable TV, and a spacious, shaded porch accessed through sliding glass doors (in both the living room and one of the bedrooms). It's a lovely spot for morning coffee and evening meals in the warm coastal breeze. Additional amenities include a private washer/dryer, free WiFi, and two full bathrooms to pair with the two bedrooms.

Folly Beach / Charleston Stay

Great little condo close enough to enjoy Folly Beach a few times besides all the site in Charleston. Great to have 2 bathrooms and laundry.

Weekend Get Away

The stay was very pleasant, very cute location. It was a little chilly and most of the seating at a table was outside (there are bar stools but they seem like they have seen better days) so eating was a little challenging without making too much of a mess. The decor is lovely

Folly Vacation

The location was cheaper being it was 1 mile from Folly beach, but the area was really nice. The apartment had very friendly neighbors that live there year round and it was nice and quiet. The apartment itself could have been cleaner. One of the two bar stools was broken so we couldn’t use it. I reported it to Vacasa staff. There were oven mitts that had food crusted stains and some dirty silverware. The appliances were outdated too. Overall it was a good stay, though.

Cute condo, slightly dated, great location

Small condo, very nicely decorated inside, and great location within easy biking distance to Folly Beach. The unit is showing its age a bit and is a little rough around the edges considering the price, especially for outside of the summer season. Free parking and bike storage were nice amenities. The balcony is great but could use some better furniture. There is no outdoor shower for rinsing off sand from the beach—maybe this is not common to the area but it is where we are from. Overall we had a good stay here. With a little kitchen update and some nicer balcony furniture this condo would be fantastic.

Disappointed

Property needs updating and a thorough cleaning. Kitchen was lacking basic items; pots, pans, measuring cups and spoons. Dishes were melamine and not microwave safe, no microwave safe dishes provided. No hair dryers in unit. Only 2 hangers available. Would not recommend this property at all or Vacasa. I called Vacasa upon check in and never received a call back.
