This cabin was great! The manager (super friendly) called us and explained the no contact check in, which was super easy! The area and amenities were amazing! Will definitely be staying here again!

Thanks so much for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed the cabin. It does have well water, so there can be a rusty smell sometimes. This can easily be fixed by changing the filter. Hope to see y'all back again!

The only major negative thing was that the master bedroom is actually a loft. So if you are traveling with children, there is no way to lock your door for privacy. And the loft bathroom smelt like urine, though this may have just been from the well water. We didn’t use the hot tub or pool table. There are a lot of stairs at the front of the house which sucked to carry luggage up, but they weren’t terrible if you weren’t carrying anything. There is only parking for one vehicle. We had to park our second car down the hill but it was ok. The little resort area was cute. We didn’t do any of the activities as we were just there for Dollywood. It is very close to the main strip, but still far enough to get the secluded cabin experience. Plenty of door dash options for my fellow foodies. And I highly recommend Alamo steakhouse, it’s a must for our family when we go. Overall, I would stay here again if it was just me and my husband or a family overnight. But I wouldn’t want to go stay here with my kids for an extended period of time.
Awesome awesome awesome. I’m sure I forgot a brand new unopened bottle of wine sitting outside 🤦🏽♂️ But I will definitely be staying with them again!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

The cabin is nice and cozy. My teens had there own room and bathroom was great. The only thing that was a negative was the stairs. It was icy one morning and the stairs were slick. It looks like there use to be grips, but they had worn off and needed replacing. The steps are steep. You need to consider this if you have trouble with climbing stairs at all.

Thanks for the great feedback, Kelly! We will make sure to keep a close eye on the grip tape on the steps! I'm glad your family enjoyed their stay and we'd love for y'all to stay again.
This was our first Honeymoon since we married in 2006! George's Treehouse was absolutely lovely! So warm and inviting! We have NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER!! The Smokies have always held a special place in our hearts, and after this stay it's even more loved and cherished if thats possible!! This Cabin does have a few stairs but it's so worth it and the hot tub will wash away any sore muscles you may get from walking and climbing them!! I highly recommend this Cabin! Its so peaceful and quiet minus the one night I thought a bear was coming in the kitchen window 😆 We loved it!! Thank you George Rainwater for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!!!💕💕💞

We stayed here for the first time with our family of 5 (16, 13, & 4 yrs). There are a lot of steps, which you can see from the photo, but I thought they were pretty easy. The lower steps are wider & there is a bit of a landing if you needed to pause before continuing up. The photos of the view are slightly misleading. The mountain view is from the front porch, but the leaves cover a lot of the view in July.
The cabin seemed a little smaller than the photos appeared, but really plenty of space for us (& we are used to 4000+ sq ft living space). The pool table is nice, but you have to use short cues on 2/4 sides. Kitchen does not have a crock pot or instapot, which would be nice. Otherwise, it had all we needed. It does have a more apartment size fridge, but it is vacation.
Beds were comfy & clean. The kids bunk bed area is very quiet. We could not hear the kids at all! The small TV's weren't an issue for us because we hardly had time to watch TV. And often the kids watch Netflix on tablets or phone at our house.
WiFi isn't the fastest, but again it's vacation and we wanted to unplug a little anyways.
The drive to get around wasn't an issue for us. So easy to get to all the places Pigeon Forge has to offer. Easy drive to Kroger for groceries. VERY close to Boss Hog BBQ, which we loved & would recommend. Hot tub worked excellent for us.
Really my biggest complaint is a slight odor. Now this is a cabin that sometimes has pets, so I should have expected some of it. Manager was very responsive to us. And the other thing is that it does get humid in the cabin, but again... July! And it wasn't unbearable to sleep. If you need a freezing cold cabin to sleep though, pick somewhere else. Strict temperatures are asked to help the air conditioning keep up without breaking down.
We did use the trails & enjoyed them. The waterfall was awesome after a big rain, but usually in July I'm guessing it's not so big. Places to get in the stream and walk or kids to wade in the water that are nice. We used gold course- very short so my husband played once. Put put looked fun, but we ran out of time! Pool looked nicer in person than in photos. Fishing areas were nice.
Overall, we'd come to this resort again.

Initially I was very excited and thought I had chosen a great cabin to enjoy a romantic weekend wit.
I’m going to start from arrival to checkout... When we arrived we were not to happy about the steep climb to the front entrance. We were not happy about the tiny TVs 24” tvs to be exact in the living room and in the master. And a 19” in the guest bedroom. Everything else appeared neat and clean. We left after a brief view of the cabin and returned late in the night and went straight to bed. We woke the next morning and I rolled over to my fiancé. He had a pillow laying by his side and I picked it up to place it toward the foot of the bed and I see it is streamed with dried blood. I freaked out assuming he was bleeding for some reason. We looked everywhere I even checked to see if he had dried blood on his nose from a nose bleed while sleeping and not knowing it happened. We got out of the bed and when we pulled the covers back we also see more dried blood on the sheets. We were horrified and I immediately called the office and told them about the bloody sheets. Did we get a shocking I’m so sorry or anything, NOPE! Just oh do u want to come get more sheets or do you want us to send the cleaning lady to change them. I say I’m disgusted and I’m not touching those sheets and do they realize we actually slept on that mess?? She says well is it a stain? I say NO! It’s dried blood! You can feel it, it’s dried on the sheets. She says the cleaning lady will bring them and show them to her and she will call me back. After about an hour I called back she said the cleaning lady hadn’t come back yet and she would call me back. She never called back. We checked out the next morning and I ask about the sheets and what they’re going to do about it. She says she wasn’t in the office and didn’t know anything about it. She proceeds to check us out I go run to the car to get my phone and show the pictures. She says they will refund the cleaning fee and apologized for it. She says this never happened before. Then the lady in the office says didn’t you have surgery on your leg??? I said what?? No why would you ask that? She says the cleaning lady said I had a bandage on my leg from having surgery! I got so mad! I said that is a lie! You just saw me run up and down the stairs twice do you think I had surgery on anything?? She says oh well ummm no but umm ok we are refunding the cleaning fee :-I smh. A mess! Also the water smells like period blood or something! I’m so happy to do this review. I do not recommend! So many nice places around don’t ruin your trip here!

Thanks for the feedback, Tina! I'm glad we were able to address the issue in a timely manner for you. I believe there may have been a miscommunication, but I'm glad we were able to refund you the cleaning fee. We trust that our cleaner would never leave sheets with blood or a stain that large. It seems as though there may have been an accident overnight because the cleaner found some soiled towels as well upon check-out. Nothing to be embarrassed about, just mother nature and we totally understand that accidents happen!
