Super, but the dogs of rhe neighbour were too loud at night, because most of the time they were alone in the house!!

Sun-drenched morning on a plain of larks

Excellent location for day trips north and south. Very pleasant sunny private patio, with view across the scrubby plain to encircling hills. All basics provided, kitchen utensils a bit sparse, WiFi quite slow but fine for our needs. Fab washing machine - remember hot weather means more laundry! Mosquitoes can be bothersome at night - bring repellant if you don't like to use airsprays.

Nice house on a great spot

The house is on the outskirt of rodalquilar, about 600 meter from the nearest small shop. Bigger shops and banks are in san josé or campohermoso. The beach of playazo is about 10 minutes by car, is a great beach, sandy, undeep sea, some cover against wind and a nice castle. The house is well equipped and clean and the owner is very helpful, she lives nearby. The roofterrace faces north, so shady in early morning and afternoon. Very nice for two persons, maybe a bit small for four. The internet works with a 'dongle' so you need a device with USB. Alternative is the wifi which is available in front of the house.

Situé à l'entrée du village, le logement très fonctionnel et suffisamment grand, avec sa terrasse sur le toit, donne accès très rapidement à la plage ou aux randonnées dans les mines et les montagnes (tôt le matin de préférence). la région est exceptionnelle par sa préservation en ces temps de sur-tourisme, parfait pour ceux qui n'aiment pas la foule. Je conseille à 200%. Je n'ai pas vu Maria, la propriétaire, mais alors que j'avais un problème avec ma Visa, elle a accepté de m'aider sans hésitation. Les échanges SMS que nous avons eus montrent que c'est une personne très serviable et fiable. Bonne vacances à Rodalquilar...

Fantástico

La casita es de ensueño, limpia y con todo lo necesario para vivir unos días. La ubicación es inmejorable y super tranquilo, lo único que se es ucha es el sonido de la naturaleza y no hay nada de contaminación lumínica por la noche, ideal para disfrutar de las estrellas en suterraza. María y su marido son encantadores, sin duda volveré en cuanto pueda.

La casa está cuidada al detalle, tienes absolutamente todo lo que puedas necesitar para cocinar. Salón muy cómodo donde tumbarte con TV grande y wifi. Terraza grande y cómoda que da al dormitorio. Excelente ubicación, aunque está cerca de la carretera no es ruidosa. Ideal para ir andando a Rodalquilar (400 m) al Playazo (2 km. aprox). Angenehme Wohnung in rauer Umgebung mit guten Wandermöglichkeiten

Anstelle der gebuchten größeren haben wir uns vor Ort für die kleinere der beiden nebeneinander gelegenen Wohnungen entschieden, der größeren und sonnigeren Terrasse wegen.. Alles notwendige ist vorhanden, die Wohnung ist pflegeleicht. In der Gegend um das Cabo de Gata ist es im Winter fast stetig windig, dann wird es trotz durchgehender Ysonne schnell kühl. Die freundlichen und hilfsbereiten und gut englisch sprechenden Vermieter haben Wandervorschläge für die nähere Umgebung bereit liegen. Die sind richtig gut, ganz abwechslungsreich, Strandwege, Halbwüste, altes Goldminengebiet.

Comfortable, well-equipped and in a good location

We liked the location of the property, which was convenient for the excellent beach of El Playazo and was also a good base for exploring the hinterland on foot. There were also several good eating places nearby, including the Mexican Taberna del Faro which was just around the corner. The roof terrace was a very pleasant place to sit at the beginning and end of the day.

Sehr schön

Das Appartement ist genau wie auf den Bilder und wirklich wunderschön. Im EG ist Küche, Toilette und Wohnzimmer. Im 1. OG Schlafzimmer, Bad und Dachterasse mit Liegestühlen und einem Tisch. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es für die Straße, die man von der Dachterasse aus hört, jedoch zumindest im Mai wenig befahren ist und daher nicht wirklich gestört hat. Rodalquilar ist ein kleiner Ort mit einer Handvoll Restaurants - abends kann man gut essen gehen. Der Strand ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert, zumdem eignet sich der Ort als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen,
