Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
The first day checking in. No hot water, no local tv, shower was broken, the grill was old dirty and would not ignite,The A/C did not work. The owner had to replace the heating and A/C unit while we were there. No A/C for several days in 100 degree heat in AZ. The furniture in the living room was marginal for comfort. The chair in the office area was old and falling apart with wires sticking out of the arm rest. The copier did not work. This all should have been checked and taken care of before this home was rented out. We have rented over eight years in this area and have never had any issues before this year. In my opinion the company Elite Vacation Rentals did not do an adequate job in checking to make sure this home was suitable to rent. I have used VRBO in Florida, Hilton Head and several other locations and never experienced a problem. Based on this last experience I would never go through Elite Vacation Rentals in the future. The comment to me was that all this was a minor inconvenience.
