Our family had a wonderful weekend here. The townhouse was clean and well decorated. Beds were comfy and we spent lots of time on the balconies and the dock. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook meals in. Great quiet neighborhood.

Great townhouse on a quiet cove

The place is exactly as pictured. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. We loved the house and there was plenty of room. We used the boat slip and had no problems. The cove is great, no boat traffic and very pretty. There are a lot of steep steps you have to climb to get up from the lake.

It was very nicely appointed and very comfortable. My only concern is that there were at least 60 fairly steep steps down to the dock from the unit. For young people that is certainly not an issue however, for older folks it could be and perhaps that should be disclosed in the description. Fortunately I am a healthy 74 so it was not of great consequence to me personally. We had out boat with us and the owner set up his slip so we could keep the boat right at the unit. The owner was wonderful to deal with and everything was just as he said it would be. Thanks, Jodi Eafrati.

Spacious home on a quiet cove of SML. Plenty of room for a family and enjoyed the rafts, kayaks, and fishing poles. The party deck/boat dock is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the cove. Location is perfect to conveniences (Kroger only 5 minutes away). Communication was clear and the owners thoughtful to contact prior to arrival to make sure check in was fast and simple. Sisters getaway and birthday celebration

My Sisters met me here to get some R&R and celebrate my birthday. We had an amazing time! The pictures are pretty accurate, but in person is even better. The views are breath taking. It was just what we needed. Jodi is very nice and personable. Great property for a weekend getaway. Nice views of the lake. Kitchen, Dining and open living room are great for cooking and conversation. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Be sure and check out the Booker T Washington and D Day Memorials.

Lovely & relaxing!

We spent a lovely few days at this property in late March. The owner was very helpful and responsive. A pleasure to work with! The community was friendly and shops and restaurants were very convenient. We visited the Alpaca Farm and spent a nice afternoon at the Booker T. Washington Homestead which was just minutes away.

Pictures and listing summary are totally accurate. We had a great week here at Smith Mountain Lake! Townhouse was spacious for our multigenerational group of 6. We enjoyed the kayaks and swimming dock. WiFi was solid and supported 2 kids remote learning and 2 parents working remotely -- a lot of Zooms! 2 things to note for older guests -- there are ~60 steps to the swimming dock, which were a workout for the grandparents. Also, the swim ladder on the swimming dock may be a bit challenging for older guests. The kids were in heaven though!

This property is exactly as seen in pictures. It was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated during these times. The condo is located on a quiet cove, but access to the “big lake” is just around the corner. Jodi was great to work with and helped make our stay seamless!

Great for long weekend with friends!

The town home was very clean, modernized furniture, and provided kayaks, life vests, etc. for our group. The AC went out the second day and Jodi had someone there within an hour to fix it! The only odd thing was that the basement bedroom was the only way out to the back of the town home so anyone that stays in that room has a lot of traffic in/out. It looks like it may have been an extra den originally and remodeled into a bedroom with bath. Having the extra bed was necessary for our group of two families sharing the space, and since we are close, the in/out wasn't a big deal. People could always use the front door and walk around to the back if someone wanted more privacy in the room. Jodi was very accommodating with any questions prior to the trip and definitely responsive with the AC issue and any other questions that we had during our stay. There were a lot of steps to the docs, but we had kids to run up and down for necessities and allowed for us to get some exercise during our stay! The area was great for kids to swim, kayak and us to float as it isn't busy and not a lot of traffic. Also, there were some other residents/renters there, but the docks were not crowded and there wasn't a lot of noise. The area is super close to West Lake Center for any runs to the store needed. We would definitely stay again! Great getaway! :)
