Host was friendly and responsive when we had questions. The ammenities were in good condition, clean and as advertised. The loction was close to eveything you would want to do but renting a car is a very good idea. I would happliy stay there again.

Very clean, plenty of hot water, beautiful top deck and personal dipping pool. Friendly owners and other guests. Beach chairs, cooler and towels were an added bonus. Highly recommend. We will stay here again.

We cancelled our Aruba vacation prior to check in date due to the Venezuela/USA conflict. Aruba did not feel safe with the political unrest and potential for air space closure. We tried to cancel before the check in day but the hosts were not willing to relist and refund if it was rented. The host was unable to refund any of our two week stay. They were unable to give a the cleaning fee, unable to refund the service fee or give us a credit for another time.

Enjoyed our stay, quick walk to the beach. The plunge pool is more of a hot tub which was Great. Last four days we had the complex to ourselves to enjoy the pool and bbq.

Pent house!

August Eagle is new property with pool. We enjoyed our quiet top floor open style unit with large deck and refreshing tub. We needed a few more instructions on operating appliances and water heating. The location is good.

Excellent Choice!

My wife and I stayed at August Eagle Lifestyle suites for the month of January 2023. The unit was clean and well appointed. The location is great, near hospital and eagle beach. Easy walk to the beach, IMAX complex, and casino. Our host, Soraima was wonderful. We had a few minor things to address and they were quickly resolved. Nellie did a terrific job cleaning our unit and bringing fresh towels regularly. We would recommend this property and would look to return in the future. Thank you Rosanna and Timothy!

Not such a "hot" place to stay

Overall nice place just not managed well at all! - Did not have hot water the entire stay. First they ran our off gas, then the main boiler broke. - They charge a cleaning fee but we only had service once over our day stay. - They advertise a coffee shop but it has been permanently closed for over a year! - No one is available during the day, expect to be completely on your own to figure it out once you get the keys. - Condo had ants in the kitchen and bathroom. - Property manager and owner became unresponsive once we brought these issues to their attention- most disappointing. Atleast attempt to make things right.

Thank you for the 'overall nice place' experience. The property has hot water and no problems with the boilers. The shower has hot water and the bathroom sink is not connected to hot water. The cleaning fee is a fee to clean the apartment after the guest has checked out. The coffee shop closed its doors on the 1st of october 2018. We are available and responsive from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and after these hours we respond if there is an emergency. We work right next door and our office is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during business days. It is the caribbean and because of the warm weather there might be ants around, no matter how careful you are with food and even if the property has a pest control service every 4 weeks. The property owner is always responsive and when off the island, the property assistant continues the services. We offer great clean, and comfort stays in a relaxed, safe and well equipped self-service and self-providing property.

A little walking required but a great value

The complex is modern, secure, and private. Even though we stayed in one of the smallest units, the bathroom was more than adequate size (and provided a hot shower!), and the private outdoor patio area was large, with a small plunge pool just for us. We also had access to the larger common pool, gas grill, and laundry. The bed in our unit was a king, with plenty of room for me and my wife. The kitchenette was small, but came in very handy. It comes equipped with coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, dishwasher, and quite a few pots and pans. It was a full seven minute walk to the beach. We had a car, but walked whenever we went to Eagle beach (we drove to other sights, such as the lighthouse, Boca Catalina, Baby Beach). There us a bar at the beach right at the point where we walked up, and also a dinner spot one block further. Within 15 minutes of walking, we had many more eating options ( near the Alhambra casino). There are also chain restaurants and a movie theater about a 3 minute walk from the unit if you head the opposite way of the beach. Overall, we were thrilled with our stay. We got a lot for our money, and we will stay here again. Rosanna was helpful and communicative, and I communicated with the manager almost daily (mostly small questions about something she had already told us) via What’sApp. We highly recommend this.property. Do note that it is on the third floor with no elevator. This wasn’t a problem for us—but I understand how it might be for some.

Great place to stay during our island getaway!

Rosanna's property at August Eagle was excellent. The check-in process had us meet her assistant, Soraima at the gate of the complex. Soraima clearly explained how to enter and exit the property, showed and explained the keys and how they work, went over the rules and particulars about the property, and answered all questions we had very effectively. The property included towels for the shower and bathroom, and beach towels and chairs. There was a beverage refrigerator that worked great. The property had full cutlery and dinner/drinkware. The jetted tub outside worked great and was incredibly clean. There were beach chairs and cushions available on the deck outside. The property was tucked back away from the main road. There was construction by the property, but they were not working at all when we were there - so there wasn't any noise to bother us while we slept or relaxed in the room. The property was located at a 5 minute walk from Eagle Beach, Screaming Eagle, Elliotis, Alhambra casino, Coffee w/ Soul, etc - honestly a perfect location. Walking felt safe to get from the property to the local restaurants/shops. Thank you again for the excellent stay! We can't wait to come back in the future!!!
