This was a wonderful stay for us. The cabin itself was clean, comfy and relaxing. The outdoor space was a surprise hang out spot with a table, chairs and grill. We had a lot of fun out there! The owner went above and beyond by guiding us through every question and promptly responding to messages. I would definitely visit again.
This is an exceptionally comfortable and thoughtfully furnished cottage! I met a friend here because the location is equidistant between our homes in different regions, and it was perfect —very clean, stocked with delicious teas, appliances, very comfortable beds, beautiful cotton sheets. In warmer weather I’m sure the surrounding woods are beautiful—there is a spacious deck and outdoor furniture. The cottage is a bit difficult to access (down a steep dirt driveway) and you have to really maneuver to get back out (because the parking area is tight). Accessibility was not a problem for us, but if that is a concern there are four slate steps down to the door. Otherwise, the host is very responsive and thoughtful. Neither of us knows the area but it looks like there’s great hiking and walking nearby (just not at or adjoining the cabin), if the weather had been better. I would definitely stay here again—and I’m picky!
Shannon was a wonderful host. Such easy communication, she generously offered fresh produce from the garden and had easy and flexible check-in and check-out. The property was spotless and had everything we needed, fully supplied for paper goods and anything else that could be needed. Kitchen was fully stocked and had coffee and cold water available for the guests. Absolutely would stay here again!
Cozy comfortable charming cottage was so pleasing. We stayed for a week and the setting was nice. I opened the kitchen door in the mornings to hear the birds singing. We had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay.
