Absolute Waterfront - Lorsens On The River - 2 bedroom cabin

LORSENS ON THE RIVER is situated at Shoalhaven Heads where the river meets the sea at the mouth of the beautful Shoalhaven River. Only 2 hours drive south of Sydney, 10 minutes to the historic town of Berry. There are 3 x 2 b/rm cabins with absolute waterfront to The Shoalhaven River. An idyllic romantic location for 2 or get a group of friends together and book all 3 cabins for a fun filled weekend. All cabins are fully self-contained with linen & towels provided. The river is ideal for sailing, windsurfing & kayaking. Lorsens has its own private jetty where you can leave your boat while staying. With the boat ramp right next door you can moor your boat in minutes for quick access to the fishing in the river or head out to the open waters thru Crookhaven Heads. If you dont have a boat throw a line in from the sandy shores of the river. Walk 500metres around the river to Shoalhaven Heads Surf Beach which is popular all year round for fishing, surfing, kite flying and windsurfing. If golf is more your style the all weather Shoalhaven Heads Golf Course is only 1.5km away.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Shoalhaven Heads is only 10km to the historic town of Berry which offers an abundance of cafes, craft markets & antique shops. A great place to laze away the sunday morning or visit the Berry Market on the first sunday of every month.
The South Coast is becoming well known for its boutique wineries many of which have produced award-winning wines all within a short drive from "Lorsens on the River". Wine tours are available.
Jervis Bay is 1/2 hour drive away where you can spot the whales from June until the end of November or go dolphin watching all year round.

What a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. The cabin itself is basic but has all you need. Sitting outside just relaxing and taking in the view is all you need. I highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a break from the hustle and bustle

Lovely cottage right next to water. Spent weekend with daughter and had a wonderful time. Was able to launch kayak from the front door. Property manager was very friendly. Will definitely return.

Lovely stay

Lovely location right on the water. Cabins very clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to the pub for breakfast. Great communication with hosts and especially helpful after daughter left speaker in the room. Will be staying again.

Great stay ... view magnificent, very basic accomodation but we were out mainly.

If I could suggest a portable fan for the second bedroom as it was hot to sleep in. It would save on running the air con all night

great spot right on the river - property needs some tlc

Enjoyed the communal cabin accommodation. met some awesome people. For a premium tariff you would expect some better amenities i guess, like a decent shower, a toilet that you don't have to flush 5 times and a ceiling fan that works without the light being on. Had a great holiday with the kids but cabins seriously need some urgent attention.

View, relax and smooth

The location is wonderful, the cabins was clean and have most of things you need, you ride your bike around the area and you can do fishing directly from the property. Overall was very nice experience.

Awesome spot

Great little cabin right on the waters edge. Hosts were very flexible. The cabin was perfect for a small group of adults wanting to fish or for a family wanting a holiday close to the water. Highly recommended
