Arboleda’s House features beautiful mountain views, a spacious backyard, and direct access to the river via a private trail. High-speed WiFi (200 Mbps) is available throughout the property, ideal for remote work or study.

The house includes 3 bedrooms with A/C, a comfortable living room with a 60” Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and private gated parking for up to 3 vehicles. The backyard also offers a cozy BBQ rancho where you can grill and unwind.

Guests can enjoy the peaceful gardens and the opportunity to spot a variety of birds, animals, and native trees just steps from the house. The Cambronero Solís family lives next door, in a separate apartment, and will be happy to welcome you and assist you whenever you need it

Excellent place! Clean, plenty of room and the backyard was beautiful with steps down to the river. It was perfect for our stay in the rainforest. There is no dryer, you have to hang dry clothes. I had missed that and wasn’t really prepared for no dryer. Host was friendly and answered questions I had about the area. One of the better places we have stayed.

Fantastic home in a good location. The outside area was amazing...we enjoyed eating and relaxing there. The host was amazing as well (and daughter Pamela as well)...one of the nicest families we have ever met. The house provides a true Costa Rican adventure with some of the indoor and outdoor creatures that come with it. We loved it!

This is the cutest property. The outdoor area brought a lot of family time. We loved it. The area was so clean and the sound of the creek was soothing. My only suggestion would be to provide an additional trash bag and paper towels a family of six went through a lot very quickly. Thank you for sharing your home!

We had a wonderful stay at Arboleda’s House – By the River, Forest & Gardens. The setting is peaceful and lush, with the river, forest, and gardens creating a relaxing place to unwind after busy adventure days. The location is excellent—close to everything but still quiet and private.It was just a short drive to the chocolate tour at Don Jorge Chocolate Tour, which was a highlight of our trip. There’s also a great pizzería just up the street, making meals easy and convenient.We booked rappelling and white water rafting with Maquique Adventure Canyoning and Rafting, and it was absolutely fantastic—professional guides, exciting runs, and an unforgettable experience.Overall, this stay was the perfect home base for exploring La Fortuna. Comfortable, well-located, and surrounded by nature. We’d happily stay here again.

Air conditioned and plenty of space for our whole family, this house was perfect for adventures in La Fortuna and near Arenal Volcano. A little more road noise than we expected, but otherwise- perfect!

We enjoyed staying in Dionorah’s home. We had all we needed, we enjoyed being out of “town”, the back yard was heavenly. Abigail’s cafe, down the street, was yummy although it had spotty hours.

Love this place.

This was our second time staying here. It is a beautiful little home. The home is super clean and a perfect location for those wanting to get some rest but only be a few minutes from the happenings of La Fortuna. The host is wonderful.

Our stay at Penas Blancas was all we imagined!

The entire process from reserving, to check in and check out was seamless. We were in town for 1 evening and the house met all our expectations. Very clean and accommodating for our group of 6 ( consisting of 3 adults and 3 kids). Short drive to town and restaurants and supermarket.

It will be my pleasure to serve you. We are people of good principles, always attentive to help in whatever they need. My english is very limited, but my daughters help me to communicate, they do have better language management.

Why they chose this property

La Fortuna is one of the most visited places in Costa Rica, The house at a comfortable price to book, it is very quiet for people with a light sleep, besides it is only 10 minutes by car from La Fortuna. Around the house there is a wide variety of trees, where you can see a variety of animals such as: sloth, toucans, iguanas, howler monkey.

What makes this property unique

The close river, there is a path to go there, also you can swim on it. The views around the house. Very quiet place.
