The home was in a nice neighborhood and great location, convenient to Pooler and only a quick drive to Savannah. We were only there for two nights, but enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the view of the small lake behind the property. The home had plenty of space and nice furnishings. My only complaint would be that it needed a refresh. The photographs online depict the property as looking freshly remodeled and in excellent condition. The remodel must have occurred many years ago, or previous tenants may have put a lot of wear and tear on the property as the floors were all scratched up, and several nicks, scuffs, and scrapes were on the wall. There were also several nail holes around the home that had not been repaired. It looked like the owners needed to do some repair and maintenance on many cosmetic aspects. The cosmetic stuff wasn’t that bothersome, just not what I was expecting based on looking at the photos online. It felt like I was walking into a home that people had lived in many years, and had just moved out, only doing some light cleaning as they left, and leaving everything else “as is”. We also noticed that the master tub wasn’t very clean. We found two personal hairs in it and the tub was just very dingy. The toilet lid looked old and was extremely worn…I didn’t feel great about sitting on it, even if it was clean.Overall, we felt it was a nice place to stay; it just needed some repairs and a more thorough cleaning.
