We booked this house for five people attending my daughter’s graduation from the University of Arizona, and the location was ideal. Its close proximity to campus allowed us to walk to the graduation ceremony without having to worry about parking. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. While having a bathroom upstairs would have been more convenient, it was not a deal breaker. The main issues we encountered were the limited supply of toilet paper and garbage bags. With five people staying for two nights, one roll of toilet paper was not sufficient. We contacted the owner and left a message, and additional supplies were eventually delivered. We experienced a similar issue with garbage bags and ultimately decided to purchase our own since it was the easier option.

The home had a number of unexpected issues. The air conditioners were added to the home by cutting out a hole in the wall to insert the air conditioners. The hole was patched and was unsightly and wired in a way that looked unsafe. It was still very warm after turning on the air conditioners. They were old and loud. In the small bathroom you had to turn on the shower from an outside wall because the shower was so small. And then exit the shower to turn off the water. After using the toilet the tank would not refill. We waited a half hour and then called the owner. He came over and said he had fixed it and to wait because it just refills slowly. The floor vents were bent and a trip hazard. There was also a loud fraternity next to the home.
