My wife and I stayed 6 nights in September 2025. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and, due to our dietary restrictions, most of our meals were easily prepared in the kitchenette. It is a short 10-minute walk to downtown and is centrally located as a base for mid-coast Maine adventures. We definitely recommend this location.
Had a wonderful stay in the sunny Belfast studio. Lovely, quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the center of town. The studio was peaceful, tidy, and easy to settle into. The host responded quickly to my one question. Looking forward to future stays here.
Our stay here was great and Nicole was very easy to communicate with. Walkable distance to everything in downtown Belfast, and short drives to areas of interest. Very clean and comfortable, had what we needed.
For our mother/daughter stay in the area, this unit was ideal: a very well equipped, squeaky clean, 2nd level studio unit in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood close to downtown and the waterfront. The gardens on site added to the welcoming ambience. The narrow, steep stairs were a bit of a challenge, but not a show-stopper.

Pros: nice neighborhood full of 19th century homes, walkable to downtown, close to grocery, shopping, rt 1, spacious for 1, comfy bed, cozy sheets, lots of places to put clothes, overall a good spot for my one person retreat week. Cons: small fridge, steep stairs, bathroom sink so small and narrow it's basically not usable, furnishings and decor could use a little spiffing up, bench and hooks in the entry way would be nice. Belfast is a delight and I hope to return!
We had such a relaxing stay at the "sunny studio". The room and garden were great and had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. Charming neighborhood, great restaurants, and friendly accommodating hosts - it couldn't have been better. Highly recommended!
The place was clean and comfortable although the bathroom was small/tight. We didn't spend much time inside as we were out exploring beautiful Maine, but we had everything we needed.

Very nice, cozy loft studio, lots of space for one person. Bed was comfortable but could use a small reading lamp on the other side as well. I really liked the keypad entry, that simplified life to no end! Would definitely recommend highly!
Pros:
- Bright, lots of windows and natural ventilation but AC if you need it.
- Clean and well-equipped kitchen
- Small but clean and pleasant bathroom with shower
- Plenty of space for dining and relaxing.
- Great location. Beautiful homes on quiet streets and a walk to the fun downtown area.
- Private space above garage with electric digital entry (no keys to keep track of!)
- Did not encounter owners but felt we could if we needed to
Con:
- Steep stairway entrance. No problem unless you have mobility issues and/or little children!
We would definitely stay here again!
This was a lovely place to spend the weekend. I visited over a chilly weekend in January. I didn't get to enjoy the garden because of the snow, but it looked like it would be very pretty in another season. The bed was very comfortable (a huge PLUS), the kitchen was well-stocked and good-sized, and the furniture was cute and functional. The heater kept the room cozy warm, and was nicely adjustable to cool down at night. The owner was easily and kindly accessible when I had a question. I briefly met the homeowners' adorable little dog on my way out one morning, and a little snuggle with him was a bonus benefit! If you didn't already know this: Belfast is a wonderful town to visit, and this property puts you right near the fun stuff!
This is a thoughtfully furnished studio with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is one room, a very spacious room with high ceilings & large windows. The furnishings are contemporary and comfortable. We found the kitchen area accommodating for making breakfast each morning & the living room area well-suited for relaxing after our day in town. The bathroom is extremely small but fine for us. The apartment was very clean. To enter you walk through the garden, a beautiful green space. Inside the door you mount stairs to the second floor studio. As oldsters we were a little taken aback by the steep stairs to the second floor studio. We appreciated that the stairs have a handrail and are well lit. The host has thoughtfully anticipated guests' needs & we enjoyed being able to walk into Belfast.
My wife and I stayed for two nights in March. Arrival and check in was incredibly simple with clear instructions and door code entry. The apartment is up a somewhat steep staircase, but manageable. I only really struggled with it when carrying a large, heavy cooler. The unit itself is very clean and well laid out. Plenty of space for two. The heater kept the space good and warm on a weekend where temps hovered around the freezing mark each day. The bathroom sink is a bit small and tight on space, but the owners put a mirror above the kitchen sink too if you need a little extra space to ready yourself for the day.Very convenient to town. We walked everywhere. Less than ten minutes to the river path, downtown, and park. Sidewalks are available on most streets and the neighborhood is serene. I highly recommend and hope to stay again if in the area!
Very communicative, easy to find and access! We walked to the harbor and downtown our first morning there. The fall colors were beautiful! The loft itself was so cozy and comfortable. Perfect space for 2 people.
