Had a great family vacation! Loved the location, beach and pool! We had a few issues with the house (one bedroom stayed hot and some lights were out) that were not addressed. But overall, a great place!

Great location but house needs work
We loved Isle of Palms but this house needs some TLC. The beach access and pool are pretty nice but many aspects of the house are dated, worn and in disrepair. There is a hole in the wall in the main floor bath. Kitchen cabinets are in rough shape and the screened porch door has a hole in it.
We loved the property, loved the location the pool was large the outside furniture was nice. The inside was clean and nice. My only real problem was the downstairs bedroom was listed as having a private bathroom that bathroom was not private it had access off the entrance hall and was shared with anyone in the first floor! And it was small!!
The bedroom was small and dark!! I paid 13,000 for the week and because I could not walked up and down the stairs to the upstairs I had to use that bedroom and bathroom! That part of the listing needs to he changed the last sentence on that paragraph of the listing is the guest bedroom has a private bath! And it does not.
House was clean. Location is great. The house needs some updating and painting. I've stayed in better and stayed in worse. For a luxury rental is was lacking a little. On a scale I would give it a seven. I've rented houses before, twice in Isle of Palms, twice in Myrtle Beach and once in Fort Myers Florida. The kitchen was nice but one of the sinks leaked, the master bathroom was great but one of the vanity sinks drained slow and one of the lights on the back porch was loose. The location to the beach is great you're right on the beach and the pool is great also. All in all we had a great time!
My husband and I rented the property to spend spring break with our children and grandchildren. The set up was perfect. All the rooms were spacious and very well-kept. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook any type of meal. The proximity to the beach was amazing. Although the pool is not heated and it was chilly outside, that didn’t stop the grandkids from getting in and enjoying every moment. Check in and out was very easy. The rental company did a fantastic job communicating with us before, during and after our visit. We would all highly recommend this vacation paradise.
Outstanding location -- steps from a beautiful and quiet beach. The outdoor porch and rocking chairs were a wonderful nightly routine once the babies were all down for the night. House was very clean and reasonably stocked with useful cookware (like a blender). My only complaint is that a few things could use some updating -- a warped floorboard in the main room caused a few mild injuries and some of the external painting needs to be redone. Nonetheless, had a fabulous week.

Great location poorly maintained property
The location of this property is great. Pool was great. House is in need of maintenance. Floor is warped and has sharp edges exposed. Mold above kitchen window. Serious mildew odor on first floor. Doors stick.
Beds and furniture were decent and while in serious need or repair the property was clean.
A total of 5 adults and 5 children under 6yo stayed for a week. The house was perfect for this group especially, the kids. The house is well lived in and was very "kid friendly".
Some upkeep has been put aside (uneven decking, some wood rot-as expected for a beach house, uneven floor boards, etc.). The master bed mattress is on some kind of board that is very noisy, would suggest updating the spring board/flat wood slab the mattress sits on.
Overall, very enjoyable and easy!
Delicious local food, comfortable mattresses in our bedrooms, runs on the beach, and family conversations made our winter break at Isle of Palms a great experience.
Enjoyed our time. Although the weather was terrible, the house served us well. The company is doing their best to keep the place serviceable, but this home has seen better days. If you don't care about the condition of the home, this place work great and the location is good. Company keeps it clean for sure.
If you want something with nice interior finishes for your stay, I would keep looking.
The location and setting is awesome. House has some wear and tear but expected for a rental property. The agent was great getting back us when we made inquiries while at the home. The pool was dirty and needed to be cleaned while we were there and we lost a day of swimming. All in all, we enjoyed the stay
