Nice little cabin with a wonderful deck to drink coffee or wine and see Lake Superior. Super fun to walk across the highway to a beautiful little rock beach with driftwood and enjoyed the crystal clear water. The firepit was wonderful, super cozy.
Great eclectic getaway. We enjoyed the sauna and even ran across the road to dip in Lake Superior and come back. We enjoyed picking Thimbleberries around the property. It was the perfect place to kick back and relax.
The property and location were absolutely beautiful! The host was accessible and helpful. And the sauna was a bonus! Loved our time here and would highly recommend this special house and host!
This is a cute cottage with a lot of charm and a nice view of Lake Superior. Very close to Marquette, Presque Isle, Ore Docks and Sugarloaf Mountain. The traffic out front is pretty noisy most of the time. We really enjoyed the sauna. We didn't really use the kitchen much but it seemed pretty well stocked if you wanted to cook there.
The cottage was cozy and clean! Host gave very clear instructions and was super responsive when we had a question.

This is a sweet little place and very conveniently located to Marquette. We came to snowshoe, snow bike, and have winter adventures, and this place helped to make it happen. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are comfortable, and the sauna is wonderful as long as you know how to construct a good fire. Taylor is great with communication. My one disappointment is that this property sits right on M-41 with the lake across the highway. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, the traffic here is constant. Thanks for the good stay.

The property description was not clear it was a two story building. The number of steps the main floor was accessible for a member of the group.

Hi Brent,
Sorry you were not expecting a two story building. You may notice that in the photos and in the description of the property it is stated that there is a downstairs landing with stairs that lead to the upper level, and the staircase banister is visible in the photos. That said, I take feedback very seriously so I will be sure to add another photo of the stairs so there is no confusion like you experienced.
Thank you again for staying with us!
