We had an amazing stay! The house comfortably fit our group of 11 and was spotless, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for cooking—we loved having a pizza night and grilling together. The private property was beautiful, and we felt so safe taking daily walks. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. One tip: bring your groceries since there aren't many stores nearby. We made so many great memories here and would absolutely stay again!

Our vacation at Windswept Pines was very enjoyable. There was plenty of room inside and outside to give everyone space to enjoy themselves. When a storm came and the electric went off the generator started up and all was good. I would stay here again. Thank you

Hi, we’re Josh and Laurie—thanks for considering Windswept Pines for your getaway!

We fell in love with this part of Pennsylvania for its rolling hills, quiet forests, and wide-open skies. When we discovered this beautiful hilltop property—with its sweeping vistas, peaceful acreage, and timeless farmhouse charm—we knew it was the perfect place to create a retreat where families and friends could slow down, spread out, and truly reconnect.

After years of traveling and hosting guests across Potter County, we designed Windswept Pines to embody everything we love about country living: warm gathering spaces, cozy bedrooms with character, long-range views, and plenty of room for every member of the group. From the farmhouse kitchen and two spacious living rooms to the pool table, wall Scrabble game, and outdoor hot tub, every corner of the home is meant to bring people together and make memories.

We love hiking, stargazing, exploring small towns like Coudersport, and simply enjoying quiet evenings by the fire—which is exactly the spirit we wanted to capture here. Windswept Pines reflects our passion for creating welcoming, comfortable spaces that feel both elevated and familiar.

It means a lot to us to host guests who are looking for peace, relaxation, and the chance to enjoy the beauty of Potter County. We hope this home brings you the same sense of joy and stillness it brings us every time we visit.

Make yourself at home—we’re so glad you’re here!

— Josh & Laurie
