Your ideal home away from home. We are located on a breezy and scenic hilltop of Estate Hope, Frederiksted 4.3 miles from the Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport(STX). The view is breathtaking, overlooking the east, west, north and south of the island including the 180 degree near by ocean view.

We pride ourselves in offering you a clean and private space with friendly and exceptional service. This unit has A/C in the bedrooms, Full Kitchen and Living room.

We are located within 1 mile from shopping and dining. 10minutes to the best beaches on island. Our rooms are breezy and spacious. We look forward to welcoming you and your guest(s) to our Island Castle home! Come enjoy our newest Amenity- Saltwater Pool & Hot Tub!

Great location at 500 feet above the viewable ocean. Just 3 miles north of the airport but never heard a plane. Great host and very interesting place. Would definitely go back.

Great stay in St Croix

Our stay with Island Castle was perfect! The 2 bed/2 bath was spacious, clean and everything functioned as expected. Mary and Morisa were fantastic hosts and checked in often to ensure we had what we needed. They were extremely responsive when we reached out for anything. The view was exceptional and it is a quiet property. A true, relaxing experience. We will be utilizing this property again!

Family vacation

We had a nice vacation at Island Castle Rentals.The apartment was very clean and roomy and the balcony was nice. Morisa and Mary responded quickly to our questions. We did the snorkel tour of the pier in Frederiksted and saw a lot of turtles, fish and coral. We liked Dorsch beach the best. It's not as crowded and there is shade under the trees. The road up to the castle is very rough so get 4 wheel drive or a car with high clearance.

Mary was our onsite host and she was fantastic--responsive to every need we had. The location was a particular plus for us because it placed us much closer to our favorite destinations on the north, west and central shores of the island. The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable after a day of hiking or snorkeling. The setting of the condo was very relaxing. Kitchen supplies were a little thin, but the filtered ice maker and full size refrigerator were a welcome amenity. We struggled with the Smart TVs but received help from our host, which met most of our needs. Many thanks to Mary and her staff for all of the attention she provided us during our stay. Of note: the pictured unit was NOT where we stayed. Our bathrooms did not have bidets (not an issue for us!), and the bedrooms did not open out via doors to the balcony. In fact, one bedroom opened out onto a back alleyway containing water heaters and other plumbing infrastructure. Not a deal breaker, but a bit of a disappointment. I would happily stay here again if I was assured of a more attractive egress for both bedrooms on a 2nd or 3rd floor of this attractive 3-story building. Thank you!

Nice and quiet at the condo. Didn't have functioning showerheads in the bathrooms, though. Hot water, no showerhead pressure. Expedia and Vrbo should also mention to potential customers to rent a car and get some food & drink to bring. None on site & delivery won't deliver there. Will definitely go again, though.

Easy rental experience. GREAT VIEW of island. Comfortable, quiet, safe. The property also has permanent residence so life is going on here. The earlier review was showing pics of construction material. I had to SEARCH for that stuff, under the first floor of a regular tenants porch. No where the view I had from our third floor balcony of which was beautiful.

Misleading property description

The property has insightly debris stacked in quite visible places (see picture). Drywall buckets used as door stops, and around renovation projects. What they call a balcony is just an exterior hallway in front of the main doors. Dresser drawers are missing knobs and are scuffed so they are hard to open. Light switches are dirty with brown stains on them. The washer dryer listed are not in the unit but in a separate laundryroom up a flight of stairs. Address on listing is incorrect, if you GPS 34 Grove Place, you wind up in a local neighborhood of small dwellings.

This property was GREAT very clean and quiet. The location is on top of a hillside where tou can sit on the porch and enjoy the view. The property manager is very friendly and always available if needed.This is my next home away from home will be back again.
