Griffiths Cottage is one of Burra's original copper miners cottages. Your quaint heritage stone cottage looks out over delightful cottage gardens and lush lawn. The thick stone walls were built of bluestone back in the late 1800's so it stays cool in summer and warm in winter. A log fire plus reverse cycle air conditioning ensure you are comfortable all year round.
Perfect for families, there are two bedrooms, one with a double and the other with two singles. Electric blankets are fitted to keep you cozy in winter.
Your cottage is walking distance to the Bon Accord Mining Museum and Burra's Heritage Railway Station. The Royal Exchange Hotel and the Bon Accord Hotel are both nearby and serve evening meals.
If you wish to dine at Le Pecora Nera (The Black Sheep) or White Cedars Restaurant we suggest you book ahead.
