Nestled among stands of manzanita, oaks and pines, this two bedroom, one bathroom casita is the perfect base for exploring Yosemite Valley, Tuolumne Meadows and the Merced River.
The house features a large open floor plan with wrap-around deck, wood stove, kitchen stocked with cookware and dishes, and two comfortable bedrooms with King and Queen beds. Tucked away in a small pine grove at the end of a private driveway in the rolling hills of Midpines along scenic Hwy 140, this property is an easy 40 minute drive along the Merced River to Yosemite National Park. You’ll see deer and turkeys, along with many species of birds and the occasional jackrabbit, right out your front door. There’s a convenience store just 5 minutes away and the historic mining town of Mariposa is close by with lots of great dining options, interesting shops and a full-sized grocery store for all of your needs. Pets welcome with additional fee.
This property has rewards for visitors in all seasons; spring brings vivid colors of toyon and redbuds, summer draws folks to the refreshing Merced River (6 miles to Briceburg), fall has colorful oaks and falling leaves and we get a handful of snow days each winter. It’s a lovely way to experience the awesome beauty of creation with the inviting comfort of home awaiting inside the Casita. We look forward to your visit.
