Get property for what we needed (a family of 6 with 2 dogs). Comfortable living spaces to hang out, eat, and relax. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach. 15 minute drive to Tillamook, Cape Meares, Lookout beach. It was perfect. We had never even heard of Netarts before this trip and took a chance on the property and the town and could not be happier that we did.
Host was quick to return messages and all engagements were positive. The house was comfortable with many choices for relaxation or fun and games. The kitchen was stocked with every small appliance you would ever need and the soaking tub in the larger bathroom was perfect! Our favorite beach was a short drive away and provided the best Oregon sunsets.

The house was adequate for our short stay; check-in was easy. Kitchen is well stocked and was clean.
We would have given this home a much higher rating if the home would have been cleaner. WE cooked a great dinner with the well supplied kitchen. Water pressure in bathrooms was perfect. Location is the best. The worst of the worst is when our first guest went to draw down their sheets in the bed and found sand and hair in the sheets. That made us look at all the beds we were sleeping in and two others were dirty - one with sand/hair and the master bedroom had remnants of cheetos or doritos that must have been eaten in bed. Thank goodness for the washer and dryer or we would have had to look for another place to spend the night. The sheets came out of the washer free of sand and hair which is a testament to the efficiency of the washer. Sadly, not changing the sheets after previous renters is a testament to the lack of efficiency of the cleaning crew. When we took the pillow cases off to wash them, several pillows were also stained. Not only were the pillows stained but the towels were as well. Or they were dirty, we were not sure. Once you see the grossness of the dirty sheets, it is difficult to not look in every corner for inefficencies in cleanliness. This is a shame because the location of the home, the deck with table and chairs, the view - all were overshadowed by the dissapointing, gross sheets.
This was a great stay for us near the beach for our family of six. Short blocking distance to a-semi private beach, space for 2 decent sized vehicles with off street parking, and the kitchen was well stocked. There was a bit of a pet odor, but that's to be expected with a pet friendly property. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!
The house was super cute and well kept. Large home with great layout. It wasy first time in Netarts. I would definitely come back. The community is extremely friendly. Several of the locals suggested places to take my dogs. I am very happy with my stay.
We did a small post wedding celebration with a stay at the beach with family. It was a great weekend and very relaxing. They provided games and puzzles as well as movies. We ended up doing a puzzle got 3 hours. Great time
We absolutely loved our stay here! The home is well appointed, with plenty of towels and even beach toys available. The location made adventuring easy and we loved the nearby beaches- Happy Camp was easily accessible for my mom who has limited mobility. Oceanside beach had hours of fun for exploring, kite flying and agate collecting. Being just 5 minutes from home base made everything feel so simple. Comfy beds, plenty of room for dining and everything we needed to prepare meals each night. We would return in a heartbeat and hope to be able to do so.
Overall this home is good. The cold handle in main bedroom shower is broken and needs replacement, the screw is probably stripped. The ants in in the same bathroom swarm if anything is on the counter or basin such as a tiny drop of toothpaste was enough to bring them in. The little bate trap is not enough to control them.

Thank you for your feedback, Robyn. We're glad to hear you found the home overall good, but we apologize for the issues with the shower handle and the ant problem in the bathroom. Your comments are important, and we will address these concerns with our local operations manager to ensure they are resolved promptly. We appreciate your input and hope to provide you with a better experience on your next visit.
As soon as we walked into the house, we were hit with an overwhelming odor and needed to air out the house and I was going to buy air freshener. The rest of the house seemed okay, but as we settled in, we found more and more things that were not clean: dead bugs in the bathtub, sticky residue on the hall bathroom counter, piles of hair on the floor. Pet hair covered the couches, was in the bedding, and in the towels to the point where if you tried to dry yourself the hair was left on your skin. Then we tried using the kitchen. We ran dishes through the dishwasher and the dishes were visibly dirtier than when we put them in. We spent the morning washing these ‘clean’ dishes by hand. There was food stuck to the racks in the oven, the kettle was rusted on the inside. At this point, we had spent all night/morning messaging the host, sending pictures, cleaning, and feeling stressed about not getting to enjoy our short vacation, that we needed out. I let the host know that we were not okay with the cleanliness of this property, and told them the specific time we would be leaving after we gathered our things (within an hour, by 12:30pm), and would like a refund for the night that we wouldn’t be staying. The hosts that had been so attentive and responsive previously suddenly stopped responding to me. I’m still trying to contact them about a refund for the night we did not stay. We did not enjoy our stay, and would not go back here.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that cleanliness is of utmost importance and we deeply regret that the home was not up to your expectations upon arrival. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide to our valued guests. Rest assured, we have taken your comments seriously and have addressed the matter with our cleaning crew to ensure this is an isolated incident. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to provide you with a much-improved experience in the future.
