Thanks for the kind words. We’re glad the home and its ocean setting added to your time on the coast. The apartment is arranged to make those Pacific views easy to enjoy—perfect for a quiet morning coffee or an evening sunset from the windows. Knowing guests appreciate that makes our day. We hope to welcome you back to Oceanside Skies - Apt 1 for another coastal getaway.

We loved the view, and there was easy access to beautiful beaches full of tide pools (if you go at low tide.) Cell service is spotty at best so take a picture of your check-in info (access code) before you arrive to avoid having to go for a drive like we did. :)

ProsSweet view of the Haystacks from the back patio along with comfy outdoor seating. We watched a pair of grey whales through our binoculars for a couple hours from the patio. The sound of the ocean was nice as well especially at sleep time. The apartment had everything we needed. We could walk to the 4 restaurants/cafes and the beach from the house. Easy check-in and check out. Good parking. Didn’t see any other guests while we were there. Also, there were deer all over the neighborhood. ConsIt is quite small, especially the bathroom. The shower head sprays water everywhere and the floor gets quite wet. The shower caddy seems to be in the way. The lighting is harsh white/blue lights and there was a door that connects to the main house, of which a light shined through the whole stay. Also, whoever is upstairs was very loud. Stomping around the house as early as 4am. But, not sure if that’s a regular thing. Queen bed is quite small, but we made due with one in the queen and one hide-a-bed.

We appreciate you sharing these helpful details. The coastal setting clearly made for memorable moments, from whale watching on the patio to falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. We’re also taking note of the bathroom setup, lighting, connecting-door illumination, and noise transfer so we can make thoughtful improvements for future stays. Oceanside Skies - Apt 1 offers a wonderfully walkable way to enjoy the beach, local dining, and the natural beauty of the area.
