We have replaced our cleaning company and I am confident there will not be any issues in the future. We were unaware of any issues with the kayaks or canoes. We have retired one canoe and we were able to fix the kayak issue. Again, I’m happy that your overall stay was positive and you sent such a nice email stating you had a very pleasant stay. We always welcome feedback as to how we can equip the home better to please everyone. We have always had visitors state there was everything you could possibly need in the home. There is a cell phone tower within a half mile from the house. Connecting to WIFI will resolve any issues. WiFi was checked and all is well. My husband and I are always available to call with any issues or concerns. We take the utmost pride in our rental and try to accommodate and please everyone.

Hi Nettie, we’re not sure we fully understand. The pictures you mention were just taken a couple weeks ago and include improvements we had made recently, such as; a new more comfy couch with a larger TV in the living room, a larger king bed with a new TV in primary bedroom, a new vanity in the bathroom, and a new larger refrigerator in the kitchen. These improvements were focused around further increasing our guest’s experience, and I believe most people would agree that they’re desirable. There is a small step down into the bathroom, along with the breakfast nook, and to get to the back bedroom as illustrated in the photos. We’re not aware of any smells that you mentioned, but we can certainly look into it. In regard to the outside garbage can being half-filled, I believe your original check-in was scheduled for later in the week, however you requested a special exception for an early check in, which we were happy to do, and have done for other guests in certain circumstances. Your original check-in day would’ve been after trash collection, and I believe we also have multiple cans on site for your convenience as well. The house was cleaned prior to your arrival, as it always is with all of our guest before their check-in. We recall on two separate occasions seeing you in person and you stating everything was fine with the house. We really do wish you would’ve brough any of your concerns to our attention, as we would’ve been happy to try and assist where we can. In regard to your cleaning fee, we again upon your request allowed your pet to stay on property based on your assurance of their well behaved manor and “house training”. Upon your check-out, we were disappointed to see the state of the home as it was re-confirmation for us why we try and pre-screen pets. We are saddened that you didn’t enjoy your stay even after we accommodated all of your special requests, and after seeing you in person seeming content with the property during your stay. We take pride in our property, and our open communication with our guest along with the quality of their experience. We truly hope that your next accommodations suit your needs better.
