This cabin was the perfect spot for a friends getaway. Everything about the property was just as described, and Lisa was very quick to provide info for our trip and respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay again!
Wonderful charming cabin that has lots of knotty pine and a wonderful enclosed porch that has large windows on 3 sides which provides a great view of the lake.

Everything we needed and more!
We enjoyed our stay at this Cabin on Lost Land Lake. It had everything we needed and more. Very quiet with beautiful views of the lake. Not far from Hayward and a few state parks.
This cabin had almost everything you need. We had a great time and will return for sure. Only negative was it was not very clean.

Thanks for the review. I wish you had made us aware of your concerns during your stay so that we might have addressed them immediately. Although the “hideout” is available for renters to use, it is not intended or advertised as a sleeping area. It does tend to get some cobwebs and we will try to keep this out-building clear of them in the future. As for your other concern of some goose poop in the yard, our cabin is located in a National Forest. The amazing wildlife in the area is part of the reason we love it so much, but they do occasionally cause some inconvenience. I’m sorry you were inconvenienced by that, but had you let us know that is was a problem for you, we could have taken care of the situation. I’m glad you enjoyed your trip and wish you well in your future travels.

Charming vintage cabin with spectacular lake views
Although it rained every day, we enjoyed our stay at the spotless, comfortable and amazingly quiet retreat on Lost Land lake. The panaramic view from the porch was breathtaking,
Thank you for sharing this special place.

The property had everything we needed & decorated so neat. The view is amazing and would recommend to everyone. Ted and Lisa were so nice to work with too!
Thank you for opening your lovely home to us.
Incredibly clean and comfortable; Good attention to details (a bag of ice in the freezer, DVDs, books, etc.); So happy we could bring our dog. Thank you for sharing your family's cabin with us.

Thanks for the review David! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The property was awesome and the views from the porch area are gorgeous. Everything we needed seemed to be there. Two of us even caught our first Muskies.
Very private, welcoming cabin. All amenities. The lot/dock very accessible. We saw loons, deer, otter, beaver, bald eagles, etc.
We spent a lot of time out on the deck (meals, cards). Beds were A+

Lovely cabin, beautiful quiet lake
This cabin was delightful. Well stocked with board games, lots of boats and a fully loaded kitchen. We kayaked every day! Lost Land Lake itself is marvelous. Eagles, otters, loons and all kinds of fish. This was the northwoods experience that I had been searching for.

Relaxing retreat!
My family stayed at the cabin for one week. The view from the cabin of Lost Land Lake was beautiful! We enjoyed swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, nightly camp fires, the quiet, watching the eagles and the relaxation. The cabin was well stocked from the kitchen to a large assortment of books, DVD's and games. It was a short trip to Hayward for shopping, mini-golf and variety of restaurants.
This little lake cabin is a treasure. Plenty of room for a family vacation as well. The yard is gently sloped with a fantastic view from the cabin.
Everything you need for cooking is there and a nice deck to eat it on. Bedrooms are cozy and cool. Great sleeping!
Lost Land Lake is excellent fishing and there are nice Wisc. resort eateries on the lake as well. Everything you need for an amazing Northwoods stay!
We had a terrific time here at the cabin. It started off with my brothers 60 th birthday party and ended with s big bonfire. We loved all the water craft items in the basement and the cool extra chairs that were available to use. Thanks for everything !!
It was an awesome week!!! The location was great, the view was breathtaking, and the memories will last a lifetime! The cabin was unique, inviting, and very organized! We spent most of the days on the lake and then evenings were spent around the fire and/or watching a movie as a family. The boys especially loved seeing all of the wildlife - we even saved a soft shelled turtle who got laid up on the rocks after laying it’s eggs!! This will definitely be on our list for future family vacations!

Wonderful Vacation!
Our family of four stayed here for two weeks. We loved the place like our own. We hope to return. We found everything we needed. The owner has a great DVD library and a library of books to choose from. I read 5 books while there. We fished, looked at the beautiful lake, kayaked and just enjoyed ourselves. Most importantly we relaxed. It was so much fun to watch the bald eagles across the lake! Highly recommended.
Your place was great, and we had a really good vacation! Really loved the cabin with the closed in porch and amazing view of the lake, all the convenient storage, hooks, surfaces to keep things off the floor, etc, great drinking water and water pressure, and the north woods charm of your place. Also, we loved all the board games and my son loved the dvd's. Had a great time fishing from the dock and the row boat. Just what we needed. Thank you!

Peaceful and private cottage retreat
If you're looking for charming and quiet cottage by the lake experience, this is it. Beautiful lake and lake/sunrise views, very quiet - just small fishing boats and the sounds of a loon or two. The cottage was spotless on our arrival and had everything we needed for a restful time to "recharge" and "unplug" from busy city life, emails and cell phones. Enjoyed using the canoe for sunrise paddles and nightly campfires under the moon. Bed very comfy and you can drink spring water right from the tap! Wide selection of books and DVDs. Board games suitable for adults and children. Everything you would need to cook and grill out. Highlights included watching beautiful sunrises from the screened in porch, fishing right off the dock and eagle family sightings.

Wonderful Cabin!
This cabin was exactly what we were looking for and we enjoyed our week's stay so much, we have already booked another week for next summer. The cabin was clean, very nicely decorated, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The enclosed front porch was perfect for watching the lake. The front porch has a nice queen futon, another large comfy couch (replaced the green/metal futon in photo), several lamps, a desk, and a great little table perfect for playing cards or games while watching the lake. The well water tasted great. This cabin appears to have the best location on this side of the lake with a great level yard area and minimal drop to the water. There is a 1/2 flight of stairs from the deck to the yard. The yard area is mostly level, has both sun and shade, a fire pit, four Adirondack chairs, and is very private. There's a small sandy area providing easy access to the water. The swimming area has some weeds, but is mostly weed free close in and was perfect for floating. Enjoyed using the kayak every day. The lake is large, beautiful, and quiet. We even saw otters twice. I highly recommend this cabin. The owner responded very quickly to my emails and was very helpful. Can't wait to return!
