And for those with EVs we have a 20amp/250 volt outlet next to our parking area. This is your four-season Catskills basecamp.
Perched on 5 private wooded acres at the end of a quiet mountain road, this brand-new custom cabin is where modern comfort meets four-season adventure. Built in '25 with every thoughtful detail, it's your basecamp for exploring the best of the Catskills—then coming home to pure tranquility.
INSIDE TOUR
Step inside to soaring ceilings and an open great room where the whole group can gather after mountain adventures. The fully equipped kitchen flows into dining space for memorable meals, while floor-to-ceiling windows bring the forest inside. A coffee bar (Keurig and pour over) stocked with coffee, tea and hot chocolate, enough for at least one day until you can get to the store. Take a little nap on our cozy couch or snuggle up by the fire with a captivating book from our book-nook.
Step into the primary suite and imagine waking in a plush, cozy bed wrapped in a dreamy Unhide blanket as soft light filters through the trees. Brew a quiet cup at your own coffee bar before settling at the window-side workspace. A charming reading nook with a rocking chair invites you to slow down, and when it’s time to unwind, the spa-like bathroom—with its soaking tub and rain shower—offers the perfect retreat.
Two additional bedrooms sleep everyone comfortably across the cabin's generous layout and the bunk room has a roll-away twin bed in the closet.
The main floor has a bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
Downstairs, the entertainment room brings the fun: pool table, foosball, air hockey, board games, and surround sound for movie nights—all beneath whimsical Woodstock-era animal art that pays homage to the region's iconic history.
OUTDOOR LIVING
The expansive wrap-around deck is where you'll spend your best moments. Start mornings with coffee and forest views, fire up the propane grill for alfresco dinners at the outdoor table. End evenings gathered around the fire pit, watching the woods settle into mountain quiet.
There's no better way to unwind than to sink into the warm and soothing hot tub after a long day of exploring. The HOT TUB, a perfect ending to a great day, is available for an additional $50 per night and must be booked for the duration of your stay.

About the host
Hosted by Kellie
I grew up in the foothills of the New York Adirondacks, where “playing outside” wasn’t just a childhood activity—it was practically a full-time job. Life eventually whisked me away for college and work, but I always dreamed of having a peaceful escape back in the mountains… a place far from traffic and deadlines.
After long workdays and city chaos, we wanted a quiet spot to unplug and recharge. The moment we found the land where **Mountain Vista** now stands, we knew it was *the one*. Two years (and a lot of late nights and coffee) later, our little dream cabin came to life.
At first, we shared it only with friends and family—and after seeing how much fun they had making memories of their own, we figured, why not open it up to others? That’s how our hosting journey began. Since then, we’ve met so many wonderful people, and it’s been a joy to share this special place.
We hope you love Mountain Vista as much as we do—and that it gives you the peaceful escape you’re looking for!

Why they chose this property
We live in the tri-state area, and having gown up in upstate New York, I learned to appreciate just how beautiful New York State truly is. We dreamed of a getaway that was close to home and still near my family in NY, and the moment we discovered this piece of land, we knew it was the perfect spot for our home away from home. Nestled in the woods yet conveniently close to the charming college town of Oneonta, historic Cooperstown and it's infamous All Star Village, and countless mountains and hiking trails, it offered everything we were looking for—peace, nature, and a touch of small-town charm.
What makes this property unique
Mountain Vista stands out for its true hilltop location, where the elevated setting and surrounding treetops create a peaceful, treehouse-like experience with sweeping, unobstructed views. This authentic log cabin blends rustic charm with elevated comforts, including a spa-like primary suite, cozy wood-burning fireplace, and thoughtfully curated décor. Every detail—from the fully stocked coffee bar to the quality linens and well-equipped kitchen—has been designed with guest comfort in mind. Whether you're seeking a nature escape or a cozy retreat to unwind and reconnect, Mountain Vista delivers a boutique-style stay that feels both luxurious and warmly inviting.
