Set above the quiet shoreline of Big Bear Lake, Solstice Shores Chalet offers an inviting blend of open space, lake views, and comfortable mountain living designed for families and groups who want room to spread out. The home’s multi-level layout creates natural gathering spaces - from the warm glow of the indoor fireplace to the expansive deck that wraps around the main living area. Morning light filters through tall pines, and evenings settle into soft mountain air as guests relax in the hot tub or unwind in the spacious indoor common areas.

Living Spaces
The main level centers around an open living room with vaulted ceilings and large windows that bring in natural light throughout the day. A wood-burning fireplace anchors the space, creating a cozy atmosphere after time at the lake or exploring the trails. The adjoining dining area and fully equipped kitchen make it simple to prepare meals together, with plenty of room for multiple cooks. Downstairs, a dedicated game area with a ping pong table adds a casual, fun spot for families and groups to gather.

Sleeping Arrangements
With five bedrooms and seven total beds, the home accommodates up to thirteen guests comfortably. Each bedroom provides ample storage, fresh linens, and additional pillows and blankets for added comfort. Three full bathrooms ensure convenience for larger groups, and the in-unit washer and dryer allow guests to settle in for longer stays with ease.

Outdoor Living
The property’s elevated position offers glimpses of the lake and surrounding forest from the deck and upper-level windows. Guests can also fire up the BBQ grill for evening meals outdoors and gather around the patio furniture to enjoy the surroundings.

Kitchen & Amenities
The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials for cooking at home, including cookware, dishware, a drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, and a full set of appliances. Wine glasses, baking sheets, and barbecue tools make the space equally suited for casual meals or more elaborate dinners. High-speed WiFi keeps everyone connected, and key home safety items - including smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and first aid kit - are all provided.

Please remember these rules are mandated and imposed solely by the CITY and our PERMIT/ORDINANCE which requires property management companies to notify all guests that the CITY requires you to sign a rental agreement and the Good Neighbor Brochure to obtain the code to the property as well as provide a copy in the rental agreement app a copy of Governmental ID that matches the name on the reservation. Please notate these and all rules regarding spa hours, trash removal, noise and dishes being washed are due to our permit and not our rules so please keep this in mind before booking as some guests rate us based on rules we must abide by to rent. We appreciate that they are unique rules please do not review us based on the reviews we need to follow, we appreciate it. The code cannot be sent until this agreement is filled out.

(1) Maximum vehicles and guest occupancy permitted is described in the listing. Any violation is subject to eviction and/or cancellation of your stay. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly.

(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation.

(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave.

(5) Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or around the house is subject to a $25 per bag for removal. Please make sure all trash is bagged and tightly secured inside the bins and the lids are shut tight. Any trash left inside the home will be subject to a fee.

(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open.

(7) Pet- All pets must be disclosed and pet fees paid in full prior to your arrival. Please be sure to clean up after your pets, please do not allow them on the furniture or bedding, and for their safety do not leave them outside unattended. Any pet waste left inside or outside of the home or damages to the home are subject to additional cleaning or repair fees.


(8) Hot Tub – No hot tub use after 10pm per the law any time a spa is left open and the cover off more than 30 mins a fine of $250 per hour will be due plus damages to the spa as this can result in pipes freezing - if a user error or maintenance is found or if we have to dump and fill water prior to your stay due to cleanliness requirements - we cannot be held liable nor grant refunds for a spa not being at the temperature desired or if left uncovered - if we have to dump the water it can take 24 hours for it to warm up. This is out of our control as sometimes the water has to be dumped and can take 24 hours to warm up. This will not be grounds for a refund.

(9) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.

(10) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines.

(11) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time. Any evidence of violation is grounds for immediate eviction from the cabin and a $3500 plus damages found at the home.

(12) Please refrain from bringing your own BBQs, Firepits and or outside cooking devices are banned by the CITY due to the fire safety hazards. This is subject to eviction due to this is how fires start.

(13) The Mountain community area does not have air conditioning, and the availability of fans may vary depending on the property description. High temperatures or heat will not be grounds for a refund, as many cabins do not include air conditioning unless specifically stated.

(14) Due to the mountain location, Big Bear and the surrounding areas are known to have occasional power and internet outages due to circumstances beyond our control. Power outages are usually brief, lasting a few hours or less and the city always tries to work quickly to get it back up and running. There are no refunds at anytime for power or internet outages due to normal mountain conditions, as these are beyond our control.
