Full Licence: PK11357F
The Space:
The Tractor Shed is a spacious one-bedroom cottage, thoughtfully converted from a traditional agricultural building and positioned to face Loch Tay. A full-width glass frontage in the living area frames the view across the water and surrounding hills.
The layout includes a separate king-size bedroom, a generous open-plan living and dining space, and a well-equipped kitchen. Underfloor heating runs throughout the cottage, complemented by a wood-burning stove in the living area. Outside, the private hot tub is set beside the property, elevated to make the most of the loch view.
The result is a comfortable, well-proportioned retreat that balances its working-farm origins with clean, contemporary interiors.
Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive use of the entire cottage and private hot tub. Parking is provided directly beside the property. There are no shared facilities.
The Neighborhood:
The Tractor Shed sits at Achianich on the south shore of Loch Tay, above the boathouses and overlooking the water. The setting is rural and quiet, with open hillside behind and uninterrupted views across the loch.
Kenmore is approximately two miles away and offers a small selection of places to eat, a village shop and access to walking routes. Many guests choose to spend much of their stay enjoying the setting rather than travelling far.
Getting Around:
A car is essential. Access is via a farm track leading down towards the loch; care should be taken, particularly in wet conditions. Kenmore is around five minutes by car, with Aberfeldy approximately fifteen minutes.
Other Things to Note:
• No pets and no smoking
• Rural setting with access via an unmade track
• The hot tub is maintained by staff during your stay
• Wi-Fi is suitable for general browsing rather than high-bandwidth streaming
Interaction with Guests:
The Tractor Shed is self check-in. We respect guest privacy, but our local team is available if assistance is required during your stay.
