Totally disappoiting experience
When we arrived the property was filthy. Dirty and stained rugs and carpets. Even our bath mat was grungy dirty. Covid restrictions require those items to be washed. Along with filthy couch covers (also unsightly and stained). They should have been machine washed. The lounges in the downstairs bed/lounge area were terribly stained as well as visible debris on the surface. The faucets all dripped. The promised fireplaces were not functional. A man came out twice to fix them but couldn't. He said he would have to contact the owners, but no one ever called back. The grill was not only glommed up with old food buildup but also did not work for more than a minute at a time. We thought it might need a new tank and called. You delivered 2 new tanks, but we could still not keep it operating.
Privacy curtains are needed on the lowest level bedroom for the glass door between the bedroom area and the lounge area where we all needed to pass through to get to the deck. The bed is completely visible. The painted floor in that bedroom is all chipped. When we first arrived, we couldn't find the low level bathroom. All the doors were locked in that area. Someone had to come out and remove the face plate on the lock in order to open it.
As a side note, when we used an inexpensive motel on our way home, we had numerous towels. At your house we had one a piece. Women like to use towels to dry themselves as well as their hair. Also, we had 4 pillows in the master but only 2 pillow cases.
This house has a wonderful view with lots of potential but is poorly and cheaply maintained . After the last straw of not being able to use the gas grill all weekend, I requested a substantial credit and the representative said he would put in for one. Again I haven't heard back.
