BRAND NEW 6BR Riverfront Chalet w/ Epic Views, Pool, Hot Tub, Sauna, EV Charger
Serenity awaits at Chalet Blanc, a large riverfront escape perched high on a scenic bluff overlooking the Shenandoah River with Blue Ridge views. As one of the area’s few rentals with a private heated pool, it offers a rare mix of luxury and vistas. Relax in the hot tub and panoramic sauna, gather around cozy fire features, and savor breathtaking sunrises. Spacious designer interiors, a lively gaming area, and easy access to Luray Caverns, Skyline Drive, and Massanutten complete the experience.
Chalet Blanc is nestled in a quiet, private neighborhood, offering a peaceful retreat while still being part of a welcoming community. The cabin is accessed via a well-maintained gravel road for the final 0.7 mile. It sits between its sister property, Chalet Noir, and a neighboring home, with privacy fences and tall shrubs providing separation. The area features a rural farm setting, giving a sense of local charm and tranquility.
The six-bedroom cabin offers approximately 3,200 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space across two levels, giving larger groups plenty of room to relax and unwind. The main level features a fully equipped kitchen with a full range of large and small appliances, along with a dining area and a large island that provides additional seating. At the heart of the home, a cozy living area with a mounted TV and electric fireplace creates an inviting space for everyone to come together.
Just off the main living space, a large, covered deck extends the home outdoors, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. Furnished with dining tables, seating, and a gas grill, this upper-level space is perfect for morning coffee, relaxed meals, or simply taking in the spectacular views of the Shenandoah River and Blue Ridge Mountains.
A few steps below, guests enter Chalet Blanc’s signature outdoor retreat: a massive, resort-style terrace carved into the bluff. At roughly ten stories above the river and framed by long-range mountain views, this extraordinary outdoor space is designed for relaxation and entertainment, featuring a private heated plunge/cocktail pool (20' × 8') with wraparound bench seating, a six-person hot tub, and a custom barrel sauna with a dramatic bubble window overlooking the river and mountains. Beneath the lighted pergola, a propane fire pit with lounge seating creates a cozy setting for evening cocktails, conversation, and unwinding after a day of exploring. The sound of the river flowing below adds a calm, natural backdrop to the experience.
Returning to the cabin, the main level also includes four bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Two king bedrooms share a large, master-style bathroom on one side of the home. A queen bedroom and a double twin bedroom, connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom, are located on the opposite side.
The lower level, which opens directly onto the terrace, adds even more comfort and entertainment, offering two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom, bringing the home to a total of six bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Here you’ll find another king bedroom and a bunk room with two twin bunk beds (four twin mattresses), both served by a hallway full bath that also opens to the entertainment area.
Designed as the home’s ultimate fun zone, the lower level includes a spacious gathering room with a large, mounted TV, ping pong table, shuffleboard, foosball, a record player, and an arcade game. It is a lively, inviting space where guests of all ages can relax, play, and enjoy time together.
Beyond the cabin and immediate outdoor spaces, guests can follow the steps from the terrace and trail down the bluff to the river. At the bottom of the bluff, a riverside platform and small beach area provide direct access for shore fishing or simply enjoying the shoreline. Nearby, a wood-burning fire pit offers a relaxed gathering spot for evenings under the stars, just steps away from the river setting.
An on-site EV charger is available for guest convenience, and an enterprise-level Wi-Fi network provides fast, reliable internet throughout the home. The only areas in the home not accessible to guests are two locked utility/HVAC closets located on the lower level. To preserve the panoramic river and mountain views, the bluff beyond the terrace and riverfront area are shared with the neighboring sister property, Chalet Noir.
