Location is great! The condo is walkable to the Downtown mall which has lots of great restaurants and shops. Communication with Andrew was excellent, he was very responsive to my questions. We had a great time and would stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting family in the area. We loved the proximity to downtown shops and restaurants. Drew was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again when we come back.

Outstanding location and walkable to restaurants. Just a few miles from UVA - we were in to attend a football game with our family. Space was great for our family of four with two teen sons.

Drew and Kate’s home was perfect for our annual visit to Charlottesville. The rooms were very spacious and we loved historic touches like the fire places, high ceilings, and transoms above the doors. Being able to walk to the Downtown Mall was a huge plus and we appreciated the recommendation to The Nook restaurant. Communicating and with the hosts and checking in was super easy. We would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful time in this charming place. The house has a very warm and welcoming character and is beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the internet connection - very good, and the house had everything that we needed for our stay. The neighborhood is just as beautiful, we really enjoyed our walks to the downtown mall, which is really close! The hosts were very helpful and prompt in answering our questions and provided very detailed information about the house and the area. You will enjoy staying here!

This historic home is charming, comfortable, well- equipped, and in the perfect location. Being on the ground floor, there was some noise from the upstairs neighbors however the owners were super responsive and intend to mitigate with sound machines. Very impressed with their communication and desire to accommodate.

The Historic Court Square condo in downtown Charlottesville was wonderful and one of the best rental experiences in my life.  My girlfriend and I slept comfortably in the king-sized bed, keeping cool with air conditioning and enjoyed coffee in the back sun/dining room each morning; then we walked the downtown area and pedestrian mall, people watching and reviewing numerous dining options.  The area of Charlottesville where the condo is located is rich in history and vibrant with students and professionals coming and going but at no point did it feel as if we were in a “city/urban” environment.  The Colonial building is so charming and comfortable while parking was easy to find directly in front of the building or a half-block walk down the street.  All said, this was probably the best rental experience I’ve had and, aside from the great condo, the experience interacting with the owners/hosts was wonderful.  They were very communicative, providing clear directions and requests for checking in and out, and were clear they would quickly attend to any needs or requests should they arise…. Which didn’t occur because everything was perfectly in order!  I highly recommend this condo for 2-4 people who want to be in downtown Charlottesville.  Cheers!

Upon arrival we realized the typical provisions for two adults for six days were lacking. We were left a small amount of toilet paper on one roll, next to nothing in a liquid hand soap container at the bathroom sink, minimum body wash in the shower, 2 clothes hangers, no closets. No armoire. Only one of the three shades/blinds for the windows in the room with the queen bed had a spring that worked. Each evening and this room and hallway smelled of weed. The room with the two twin beds only had a ceiling light making it impossible to read at nights We found it odd that ear plugs were left in both rooms until we heard the footsteps from above and the loud conversations from below. Location is good for those who enjoy walking and the hot water from either sink was always hot.

Hi Dawn we are sorry to hear that your stay was not acceptable. We hand delivered more TP, hand soap and hangers within hours of you notifying us and wish you had mentioned the body wash as well, there was more in the pantry. We do our best to keep everything stocked. We have asked the other tenants to smoke outside but I’m sorry you could still smell it. It is legal here. Unfortunately some old homes were not built with closets so we have provided extending hangers on the back of the doors and will consider getting an armoire. Sound machines and ear plugs are provided as it a shared building in a busy downtown. Thanks for letting us know how we can do better!

This charming historically quaint property is a first floor location with ample street parking or an option for garage parking 1 block away. It is in a residential neighborhood that is walkable to local restaurants, the downtown pedestrian mall, and free public transportation. This apartment is up a few patio steps with a very easy entry using a coded lock on the front door that opens into a foyer to original wood floors throughout, high ceilings, and ample natural light with numerous large windows. The galley kitchen has new appliances that are well maintained. The bathroom has excellent water pressure, is bright, and clean. The beds are very comfortable with incredibly soft and fresh bedding. Occasionally, low sounds are heard from the apartment residents above and street noise. Ear plugs are generously supplied in both bedrooms. The apartment temperature remained comfortable throught the entire stay in a variety of weather. The apartment was visibly clean with thoughtful supplies such as an iron, ironing board, a variety of books, and a few plants throughout.If you enjoy quaint comfortable charming stays, this is a place for you.
