We had an amazing time on Bailey Island- the cabin was delightful and the island residents were marvelous. Several restaurants in the area! I workout out on the pier on the property daily and took walks. The bed was comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed. The cabin was small but clean. Great communication! We saw wild turkeys daily on the property. We had a great experience.

This property was described to the T with all the pictures being very accurate! The communication from the host was outstanding! This place was as described (rustic) and a charming rustic it was for us on our stay! No A/C needed with the windows open and the coastal breeze’s flowing through. We were just looking for an affordable place to sleep, shower , cook a couple meals and relax when we weren’t on the go and it fit perfectly into what we were looking for! Definitely recommend any properties that Your Island Connection have to offer! I look forward to my next stay!

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with a burst hot water heater the last night of our stay. We were unable to reach the host so we contacted 911 for help. The fire department came and disconnected the gushing water flow by turning off the water at an outside pump house but that left us with no water or plumbing. When we heard back from the host 2 hours after our emergency call (about 8pm) she was quite defensive saying she called us back as soon as she could but was hosting a graduation party. It was a case of very bad timing granted but very unpleasant for us. We were given a choice of access to another cabin a few miles away to shower and use the bathroom or move completely to this other cabin. This was a Friday night and we were to check out the following morning. The host said she was unable to speak with us until Monday at which point we would be long gone. We are still waiting for the refund we were promised Bailey Island is a gorgeous place to visit but I would avoid dealing with VRBO Island Connection, LLC.
