HUGE Fully Remodeled Stocked 2 Story in Scotia; 4BR, 2.5Ba Modern Farmhouse Chic
In 2024/2025, we gutted this house to the studs and fully remodeled her, including changing the floor plan, all new windows, doors, walls; brand new central air and heat; all new electrical and plumbing, etc. In March 2026, we started renting her as a furnished rental. She has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, and 6 beds that comfortably sleep 10.
1st FLOOR:
The first floor is mostly the original 1899 wood flooring. There are high ceilings and dimmable recessed lighting in the kitchen, dining room and living room. There are a lot of windows which allow a flood of natural light.
You'll enter through the back door into the mudroom with coat hooks and a drop zone table.
That leads into the spacious Chef's kitchen with black stainless steel appliances (French door refrigerator with water and ice, dishwasher, electric range); a large silgranite sink with garbage disposal; and lots of cabinets full of multiples of plates, bowls, cups, glasses, silverware, and everything you need to cook meals. Off of the kitchen is a laundry room with a full sized GE washer and dryer.
Passing through the kitchen leads to the large dining room with a table that seats 8. Lots of windows flood the room with light. There is a coffee and tea bar with a drip coffee maker, French Press, electric hot water kettle, starter coffees and tea bags, plus sugar packets and honey sticks. There is also a hutch with extra plates and casserole dishes in the top, extra silverware, and books and games in the bottom.
Off of the dining room is the 1st Floor Bedroom. It has a day bed with trundle. Though it will be tight in the room, pulling out the trundle, you can pop it up to full height making it effectively a king bed. There is also a dresser, full length mirror, a 24" Amazon Fire TV, and closet with hangers and a "secret" door to the basement.
Off of the 1st Floor Bedroom is a spacious half bathroom which also has a door to the laundry room.
Past the dining room is the living room with couch plus 3 cushioned chairs. Aside from the dimmable recessed lighting, there is a tall lamp and a table lamp; black out curtains; a 65" Roku TV with a BOSE sound bar; and a raisable coffee table.
Next is a front hallway with coat rack and stairs leading to the 2nd floor.
UPSTAIRS:
The Primary Bedroom is upstairs and has a king bed, two night stands with lamps that have USB plugs. It has a large closet, a dresser, pull-down black out shades, a white noise machine, a 43" Roku TV, and an attached bathroom with dual sinks and a shower.
There is also a Hall Bedroom that has a full bed, pull-down blackout cellular shades, a desk and chair, and a 43" Roku TV.
Across from this bedroom is the Hall Bathroom. It has a shower/tub, 48" vanity with drawers and cabinet, and a separate toilet room.
At the end of the hallway is another room that has both a full and a queen bed, plus a pull-down room darkening shade.

NOTE: Our biggest downside is the parking. The driveway is narrow, though my Dodge Durango fits up her just fine. While there is no parking in the trunk of the driveway (because it is shared with the neighbors and only one car width wide), we just had a large part of the backyard excavated to create a parking area that will fit between 3 and 5 vehicles. There is NO overnight street parking in the Village of Scotia.
