This two-story cabin was built in 2025 on a private road, with eight acres of interesting forest trails. The cabin overlooks a beautiful bay with tidal islands and is surrounded by protected land. This area is great for birdwatchers, and anyone that loves quiet, natural setting at waters’ edge. You can walk down to sit on the rocks during low tide. And we offer spectacular views from the comfort of the cabin inside and outside from either of the two decks. We also have an interesting forested property to explore. And Lubec is home to “Cobscook Shores”, a series of 20 Parklands with trails along the Maine coastline to keep you hiking every day. So bring your hiking shoes!
The town of Lubec is a quick 10 minutes where you can find harbor-side dining or take a whale-watching excursion. If you prefer to eat in, there are grocery stores minutes away and can prepare your meals with our fully-equipped kitchen.
We hope you enjoy your stay in this artistic space, equipped with things to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Please feel at home, we hope you’ll love it as much as we do.

Spring EscapeThis cabin is true to its listing. It was cozy yet spacious, quite comfortable and well appointed. It was quiet, private and we felt safe during our stay. The firepit was much enjoyed as was the guest Roku and the phenomenal view (wow!) …cue the bald eagle and shooting stars. We did not meet our host, but communication was quick and responsive. Check in/ out was fast and simple. Great spot to be in Easternmost Maine. Thank You
Mike and Linda have carved out a little slice of heaven for their guests. The property (inside and outside) was so beautiful, thoughtful, and well-designed! Our stay was incredibly comfortable, communication with Mike was very responsive, and Linda’s creativity in her paintings and the garden were just so playful and lovely. The views from inside and by the water, were peaceful and awe-inspiring.The listing is accurate, the place was very clean and tidy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the privacy and quietness felt amazing!I look forward to future stays! Thank you for offering this beautiful space, Mike and Linda!
The pictures do not show how amazing the property is and the hosts were very gracious. The house is perfectly situated to watch the (24 foot!!) tide changes and well appointed with modern appliances. To see that amount of water come and go in regular intervals was unique. The sunrises and sunsets were also incredible. This property is a modern artist's retreat and it was cool to see Linda's artwork throughout the house. Make sure to go into town to visit nearby Lubec for lobsters!
