Cozy Maine getaway
Had a wonderful time in Lubec. The house was just as it said it would be. Cozy and clean. In a great location. Beds were comfortable. We sat out on the porch with a glass of wine and could see the bay. I will definitely stay here again
Lubec is a quaint and beautiful town, so quiet and breathtaking. The house was newly updated, clean and had everything we needed. I highly recommend it.
Cozy cottage managed by an attentive and excellent property manager. Proximity to the sights & restaurants of Lubec is a major plus! The deck and water view make this spot quite special.
The property was a short walk to the water and town. House was clean, beds were comfortable. We did not eat in the house as we were visiting friends for Thanksgiving but kitchen seemed well provisioned.
The property is well maintained, clean, and centrally located to walk to everything the village of Lubec has to offer.the owners are very responsive to your needs. We plan on accessing the property again should the availability work out.

Handicap accessible
The place is clean, spacious for a wheelchair user. So happy to find a place with handicap accessibility.Just a a suggestion to put a curtain on the kitchen window and maybe a blind or curatin for the main door as well for more privacy.
This is wonderful little town and this house was fantastic. We have a handicap son in a power wheelchair and he was able to move around in and outside of the house with ease and shower in the roll in shower. Felicia was so helpful and a joy to meet. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to come to Maine that wants to stay in a much quieter and less busy place than towns near Acadia National Park. We took one day to drive to the park and explore and eat and then came back to relax in our rental. We ate at the Fisherman's Wharf and it was delicious The atmosphere was wonderful and everyone we met while visiting Lubec was so nice and friendly. We had a wonderful time!
I was excited for this trip as a visit to Maine was very high on my “States to visit list” list and last one of the lower 48.
The town of Lubec was perfect for us. Lubec acted as a hub for us to explore many different areas of the state and Canada. We were easily able to visit and enjoy both of the more heavily visited areas of St. Andrew and Bar Harbor while still being able to escape the crowds when we wanted to. Acadia National Park was easily accessible and enjoyable. We especially like Cadillac Mountain and Jordan Pond.
Lubec itself was quiet, beautiful, walkable, and delightfully fresh to us. The people were the best part. All of our encounters were with kind and helpful people, even the Customs Border Patrol agents who detained me while checking to be sure I wasn’t who they were looking for. Comforting to know our borders are so well protected.
By the way, this app is terrible for writing reviews. After the first few lines, my writing drops out of the box and becomes invisible. Sorry for any typos or if I left out major sections.
The property itself was great. Clean, Parking was easy for us but may be more challenging with a larger group. The apartment was laid out pretty well and manageable for my particular handicap. While not yet perfect, it’s obvious that the owners are addressing the property with a eye towards accessibility.
