Located in the heart of Maryville, this welcoming retreat is your perfect home base for exploring East Tennessee. Enjoy the area's mountain views and the lush greenery right behind the home. The cottage comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests, offering plenty of room for your family or group to relax.

Spacious Upstairs Master Suite: The entire upper level is a private retreat, featuring a king bed, a separate living room with a queen sleeper sofa, and a cozy reading alcove.
Main Level Bedrooms: Two comfortable bedrooms, each with a queen bed, are located on the main floor.
Modern Bathrooms: Two full, updated bathrooms ensure convenience for all guests.
Fully Equipped Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, microwave, and an island with seating for three. Coffee lovers will appreciate both a Keurig for single cups and a 12-cup coffee maker.

The large, grassy area across the driveways belongs to the property and is available for your use. We kindly ask that you leave the area in the same great condition you found it.
The two driveways can be used in a loop to make entering and exiting onto the main road easier and safer.
Please be mindful that the far driveway is shared with our neighbor for access to their property and should not be blocked.

Please be sure to bag all trash before placing in outdoor trash can. Unbagged trash will not be taken by waste removal company.

Please only lock the top lock on the front entry door. Leave the door knob lock unlocked. Ensure the back entry door has been locked.

Any unused items may be left in the kitchen or refrigerator. All opened items should be disposed of or removed upon checkout.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

*Quite hours from 10:00 PM until 7:00 AM *Do not block the 2nd driveway furthest from the house

*Stays 28 days and longer require lease agreement and prior approval. *Stays over two weeks length require access for cleaning every 14 days.

This property was excellent for our quick trip to Maryville. Cleanliness was exceptional upon our check in. Very cozy feel to the property! The kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs. Location was exactly what we wanted. Very close to anything you may need. Terry was very helpful and generous in accommodating us. Thanks, Terry! We really enjoyed the outdoor area on the back porch. Nice and shaded in the evening. We were not disappointed with anything during our stay.

My wife and I are originally from the Atlanta GA area. We've been living in East TN for over 20 years now and have fallen in love with the area. We love the greenways that are in the Blount county and Maryville area. They are perfect for walks, bike riding and are pet friendly. We also enjoy the many local trails which are convenient to the area. From the TVA trails up through the trails in the Smoky Mountains close by. The area provides easy access to the parks and entertainment in the Knoxville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and local Maryville area.

Why they chose this property

Mint Cottage is centrally located in Blount County with easy access to Hwy 411 and Hwy 129 (The Dragon). Maryville is a very short drive away and easy to access with in minutes. The neighbors are respectful and friendly. It's a great location for use as a base camp for visiting Knoxville (30-45 minute drive), Pigeon Forge (1 hour drive) and the Great Smoky Mountains (15 minutes to an hour drive, varies).

Mint Cottage is a beautiful home close to the city of Maryville, with a setting of peaceful green space and view of the Smoky Mountains out of the upstairs bathroom and back porch area. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. The home has been updated and modernized with a full kitchen and two full bathrooms.
