We enjoyed our stay at the brown drake lodge. It was clean, quiet, and close to town. Beds were comfortable as well. Enjoyed the morning and evening visitors beyond the backyard fence.

Cute, very clean and well appointed! Walking distance to grocery store, restaurants and local shopping.Hosts were kind, responsive and generously flexible with check out…Unfortunately, the neighborhood was a little sketchy but with that said we had no concerns about our safety…some homes and yards were simply unkept and somewhat junky. No question, we would stay again without hesitation!

Thank you for the review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our place and will stay again. Ennis is a safe and welcoming community. The home is within a subdivision that is governed by a Home-Owners Association and associated rules. In addition to those that you mentioned, it is also within walking distance of the high school, the church, the rodeo grounds, and near the golf course. Thank you again.
