Updated Lakefront Vacation Condo With Easy Access To Everything Sea Colony has to offer: Pools, Beach, Tram service, Fitness Center, Family-friendly Activities, and so much more!

My well maintained and modernized 2BR/2BA condo with direct lakefront view makes for a perfect mix of quiet of Sea Colony West and the excitement of the Delaware boardwalks in one vacation. I bought this condo in 2011 and every year I have improved/remodeled or updated including (I invest in maintenance every year!):

- Replaced bunk bed furnishing in 2nd bedroom (2024)
- New walk-in tile shower in Master Bath (2023)
- New dining set on deck (2023)
- New Sofa after 48 weeks of waiting for delivery (2022)
- Refreshed master bath cabinetry (2022)
- New mattress in Master Bedroom (2021)
- Repainted walls and ceiling in main living space (2021)
- New carpet in bedrooms (2020)
- New refrigerator with automatic ice maker (2020)
- New glass-top range (2020)
- New water heater (2020)
- Granite installed in Kitchen (2017)
- Installed New Pergo flooring in living and dining areas
- Installed New tile flooring in kitchen
- Mix of New and Upgraded furniture in throughout condo
- Fresh paint throughout - Painting routinely touched up and bedrooms completely repainted in 2019
- Completely remodeled main bathroom with new tile floor, new granite vanity top, new vanity cabinet, new light fixture, new mirror, and unique towel hooks
- New pots/pans, blender, microwave, and toaster in Kitchen
- 3 Flat screen TVs with cable-provided HDTV, 1 with Blue-ray player
- Wireless internet installed for complimentary tenant use
- Replaced the central Air Conditioner
- Upgraded modern front loading HE washer and and dryer (stack units)

Reading that list and looking at the pictures, it should be no surprise my condo twice earned a 'GOLD' level rating from the Sea Colony realtors summer rental division (before I switched to personally managing the summer rental schedule). I'm proud of how my property looks now so please take the time to look through the entire set of pictures.

In the master bedroom you will find a queen bed. In the second bedroom you will find a double bed with a single bunked above. Total sleeping accommodation is 5 persons.

Two of the community's pools are within a very easy walk; one of these pools also has a baby pool and the other is heated. The closest beach shuttle stop is three units away from my condo and the tram beach shuttle (a kid favorite) stops at the end of the block. TENNIS - the tennis center with over 20 courts is less than a 5 minute walk away. The fitness center was rebuilt and expanded in the 2017-2018 offseason and now has a larger indoor pool, fun water features for youngsters at the outdoor pool, plenty of exercise equipment, and an extensive offering of fitness classes for all levels. The new pickle ball courts and the family friendly amenities at the West Lake are a very short walk away.

Stays will incur a $140 cleaning fee. Guests must bring their own linens (the agencies won't let you do that) or you can book sheets for your stay directly from SheetsAtTheBeach - they have keys to my condo, they provide high quality linens less expensively than the rental agencies, and for a small extra fee they will make the beds up for you! I prefer to rent full weeks in the summer months but shorter rentals are possible in the non-prime season or for last-minute rentals.

As with every Sea Colony rental you will be responsible for purchasing recreation badges directly from the recreation association on your arrival day. These badges cost $47 per person per week in the 2024 summer months and allow access to the private beach (with life guards), the indoor and outdoor pools, the tennis courts, the fitness center, the shuttle transportation network, and other community events (e.g. the weekly beach campfire with s'mores). Unfortunately the badges are not pro-rated for shorter stays - this is one of the reasons I encourage weekly rentals.

This is strictly a non-smoking rental. Also, community regulations do not allow tenants to bring pets so no dogs or cats are allowed. For those concerned about allergies, condo owners are allowed pets and we do bring our dog when we stay.

Our family of 3 loved Rob’s place! It was our first time staying at Sea Colony and we quickly came to love all of the amenities! His place is centrally located to everything and was a quiet retreat after a day at the beach. It was updated, very clean, and Rob was extremely attentive to an issue when it arose during our stay. We look forward to staying here again in the future and highly recommend it to anyone considering!

Lovely, quiet property by a pond. Nice deck for morning coffee! Pools easily accessible by a short walk from the condo. Beach a short drive or tram ride away. Kitchen had plenty of equipment and dishes, but no consumable staples (ie no spices, oil, sugar) so bring everything you’ll need for cooking. Host very responsive and easy to communicate with!

Fantastic vacation at Sea Colony

We have been vacationing at Sea Colony for over eight years and this was our favorite vacation. The home is beautifully renovated and conveniently located by a pool and tram stops. Great Stay

It was our first visit to the Delaware beaches and Sea Colony. We loved it! The condo was perfect for our family of 4. It was nice to stay where it was more quiet while having access to all of the amenities and the beach. We brought our bikes and also took advantage of the free shuttle around the community. We'll be back.

Perfect, Cozy Condo

My oldest son & I recently stayed here for a Baseball at the Beach tournament. This condo was the perfect, quiet, cozy space to come back to after a long day at the ball fields. The location is great - very close to shops, restaurants & the beach. We especially loved the fishing lakes right outside the door. Rob was wonderful to work with & we would absolutely come back. Highly recommend! Thanks so much!

Great vacation spot!

Our stay at Sea Colony was great!! The owner was very accommodating and answered any and all questions that were asked. The place was clean and there were so many activities offered. By boys loved the fishing at Sea Colony…especially at the beach but the lake right out from the back deck was perfect for us when we were back from the beach! Overall 5 stars!! Thank you Rob! Amazing property

The description is completely accurate as this property has everything a family would want. Pools within walking distance. Playground. Space to relax. And tram stops everywhere that have you at the beach in 10 minutes. We have stayed in OC, Bethany, Dewey, etc but never found THE place for us that we’d want to return to. Well now we have.

Quiet community and enjoyable place to stay.

This is such a great place to stay. Maybe I shouldn’t talk about how amazing this place is so I can ensure the dates I reserve for next time will be available :) Rob is an easy person to get a hold of for any questions asked during our stay. We had a great time at this condo with the lake in the backyard to fish in and the pool across the street. Quiet community with transportation to the beach and tons of ammentities. Fell in love with Sea Colony

What an incredible stay at a beautiful, well maintained property for our first stay at Sea Colony. We stayed at Rob’s home with our two little boys and had a fantastic time. The property couldn’t be better located; a very short walk to a quiet pool, the tram, and an activity area with shuffleboard, putt putt and a playground that we we visited every morning. Even with some rain in the forecast we made the most of the many amenities (indoor pool, splash pad) and tried our hand at fishing in a few of the pond areas near Rob’s place. Rob was attentive and communicated thoroughly through the whole process of renting. I would recommend his home to anyone!

Relaxation and Convenience

Condo actually even cuter in person. Unit is obviously well-maintained. Quiet yet located within walking distance of several pools, at least 3 tram stops, and the world class tennis center. The owners furnished the unit with most things needed to be comfortable, and the local contact is also available for questions. There was a slight blip when we checked in but I have to say this owner is communicative and fast in dealing with all correspondence. We are landlords ourselves and he seemed to do everything he could to prepare us to enjoy our stay and respond to our issue upon arrival. Other "by owner" vacationers were checking in as we did and they did not seem to be prepared with all of the info our owner gave us. Parking in this part of the community was much easier than for those staying by the beach. This location really allowed us to take advantage of beaches, pools, tennis, fishing, and the whole area very easily. My family (2 adults, 2 kids) would rent from this owner again.
