The Space:

On the stunning coast of Delaware, you'll find this beautiful, renovated condo right on the water with spectacular views. Among the luscious green trees and sparkling water, you'll truly feel like you're away from it all when you stay here.



Inside, you'll find a bright interior filled with natural light, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling viewing windows. The interior has been completely updated in 2022 and is chic with gorgeous finishes, new appliances, and modern decor. Gather around the living area furniture to take in a movie night on the large TV or make memories around the dining table (extendable to fit eight people), playing board games or reading books provided for your enjoyment. Take advantage of the little work-from-home office nook equipped with a modern standing desk and lake views in case inspiration strikes. Prepare grand meals or on-the-go snacks in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and extras such as a waffle maker, Crockpot, Keurig Coffee Maker, and filtered water dispenser. Follow the sweeping spiral staircase to the loft, where you'll find three comfortable beds (one convertible). The beautiful main bedroom is a sight to behold, with amazing views, a TV for private viewing, and a lovely en suite bathroom. Each downstairs bedroom comes with its own brand new flatscreen TV.

We had a wonderful time at Sea Colony- this condo was amazing- so many thoughtful details to make our stay more enjoyable from throw blankets to games for the kids! Very comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen- would highly recommend!

Beautiful Condo By Lake

This was our favorite place to stay at Sea Colony. The condo is beautiful and looks just like the pictures online. The place was clean with plenty of space. The view by the lake was lovely and you can drive to the beach in less than 10 minutes. We would definitely stay there again!

I planned a spiritual retreat for 7 of my friends and this stay was great! Being near the water really made it a magical experience. Issues: no usable fireplace or fire pit and there weren’t enough towels for all the guests.

Beautiful home- does not sleep 8 adults

Great house however 3 of beds are convertible chairs which are terribly uncomfortable and only appropriate for young children. Should not be advertised as twin beds, otherwise house was well appointed, updated and very nice. House sleeps 6 adults well.

Just ok - needs a deep cleaning

Overall, the home was updated. However, it was not as clean as I expected as stated in other reviews. We had ants in the master bedroom and dining area. We had to buy raid and ant traps. The master shower also did not drain. We called for maintenance, but no one ever showed. Location and amenities of sea colony were great, just not super happy with the home.

The place looked to be recently renovated, which was very nice. Location and outside deck overlooking the pond were great. However, the place had an enormous amount of dust balls everywhere - like it had not been vacuumed or swiftered for a long time.. just not well cleaned. The kitchen was in pretty good shape clean wise. It would be nice that instead of having so many plates there were at least 2 cabinets where you could put food.

Beautiful View & Peaceful Location

The unit was adequately clean. Very spacious. Modern furniture & beautiful decor. Kitchen is small but sufficient. Plenty of cookware, dishes, and everything labeled. Bed mattresses are sufficient. Bathrooms up to date. Great views! Very peaceful! Deck furniture was great! You can tell the owners put care into this unit. We found everything true to the pictures! Beach and restaurants were a short drive (less than 15 min.) Would stay again!

Clean, comfortable and bright stay in Sea Colony

This unit was bright with tons of natural light, nicely furnished and updated. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in the Sea Colony community. We were a family of 4 and had more than enough space. The beds were very comfortable, especially the King in the primary suite. I actually checked to see the brand so I can try to get the same one when we go home. The appliances worked perfectly and made for easy storage and cooking. We had a beautiful view of the lake and enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony. There is a tram stop a few steps away which allowed us to access all the amenities Sea Colony has to offer. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Beautifully renovated unit

The owners have thought of everything — an adjustable desk that goes up and down at the touch of a button, a Bluetooth “speaker light,” fridge with ice-maker, totally equipped kitchen, new and comfortable furniture inside and out on the deck, lots of books and games in case the weather isn’t cooperative — the works. All with a gorgeous view of the pond. A tremendous amount of thought and intelligence went into this renovation, and we were the happy beneficiaries. Only possible negative: a fairly long trip to the restaurants and beach. But you can bike or take the free tram. We just drove. It didn’t compromise the quality of our stay in any way. We’re looking forward to a return next summer.

Great Place

The place was bright, open, and comfortable. Pictures were accurate because I think it was recently renovated recently, but hopefully they maintain it through the wear and tear of renters. Comfortably sleeps 6 in the main beds. The 2 main bedrooms have Casper mattresses and they were about as comfortable as a bed I've ever slept in away from home. The other convertible bed chairs and couches are terrible. Don't even try to sleep on them. The main downside to the place is that it is TOO bright. If you're hoping to sleep in on vacation, good luck because it's like waking up on the sun. Room darkening blinds or shades would be a welcomed addition to this place. Kitchen is a bit small but manageable.

Very beautiful however a bit of a cleanliness issue

This is my second stay at this property. Overall it is clean, newly decorated and beautiful. We suspect a cat has been in the property as my husband is highly allergic and he was miserable during his stay. Property needs a deep clean, or disclosure as cat-friendly. Needs a good dusting and the living room rug changed out - it’s a thick fiber woven rug full of dust and it sheds fibers everywhere. Overall the property is wonderful. Again, this was my second stay here and we had no issues the first stay (girls trip, husband was not with me). Kitchen is nicely appointed, bedroom beds are comfy. Just major issues with allergies. My kids love Sea Colony and all the amenities. A deep clean and get rid of all he living room rug and the property will be as good as new!

Beautiful stay

A beautiful home with the sweetest details! It’s nice staying somewhere that’s at the beach but not 80s beach decor! Great location within sea colony and a beautiful view. We really enjoyed our stay here. A couple tips for other travelers, not a knock against this rental at all, simply just suggestions that I feel make the stay more enjoyable…. 1. The hardest thing about this rental is also a major plus. The gorgeous views do come at a price. Being that all the windows bring in so much light! A plus during the day but for our family who is used to black out curtains, we could not sleep passed 6 am. That was tough, especially for our 2 year old. Honestly next time we will bring black poster board or something to help. 2. Personal preference I know, but the trash bags provided by vacasa we’re almost pointless so I brought my own. Also they provided rinse agent but no actual detergent for the dishwasher just a heads up. 3. Food storage- the cabinets are all pretty much full so you don’t really have a pantry to store food. I felt like there was an excessive amount of mugs - over 20- and some of the things could be consolidated to clear up two shelves in the cabinet for food storage. We made it work but it was tight and needed counter space to store food. We had all the kitchen gear we could possibly need though! Thank for you for the great stay!
