Very clean. Very quiet location. Kitchen was well stocked. We like to cook. Morning beverage and meditation on rooftop was serene. I went to Athens High and OU and this was my first time back in years. The location of this was so close to Town but off the road just enough to make you feel away from the crowds. The big picture windows are great to watch deer, other wildlife and the stars.

Beautiful property with an interior to appeal to your more modern sensibilities. Conveniently located with downtown Athens practically around the corner, but tucked away so you felt surrounded by nature. We had a fair amount of rain on this trip, so the covered fire pit area kept us and our fire all the firewood dry. The interior was thoughtfully arranged. Rooftop deck was a nice bonus. My family usually travels this way once a year, and staying at this property would be my first choice.

It was interesting staying in a converted shipping container as I was always curious. Very clean. Heatwave outside but comfortable in the rental. Although smallish, it is set up well and had what we needed. There is an even smaller rental next to it with some privacy fencing. Convenient drive to any place in Athens City/OU but located between The Plains and the west side of Athens so easy to eat out or carry in food.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything from location to the unique container, was fantastic. Everything was very clean and and I loved the "Patio" on top of the roof. Having coffee up there in the morning was very peaceful. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and will hopefully be able to experience it again.

The shipping container house was a perfect weekend home for us. The rental is as described and pictured on VRBO. It was spotlessly clean and well supplied. The outside areas are beautiful and we enjoyed the covered fire pit area as well as the roof top patio. At night we saw deer and butterflies and during the day enjoyed the birds and butterflies in the wild flowers. The house is only about 6 minutes from the University and downtown Athens yet it feels like it is miles away from a population center. We hope to return to this wonderful area again.

The Cardinal property was great! Extremely clean, well stocked and comfortable. The property just outside of Athens was very peaceful and super close to the Little Fish Brewery. Bonus!! The host was very quick to respond to all my questions. We will definitely return.
